Dear Rob, firstly, thank you for your support and indeed response to the clip. I say this to all novices, "There is no such thing as a stupid question"!!! so lets consider your question.. Great you've picked up on this point, but the answer is NO... When shooting a real target, stopping the gun on the kill point would normally result in a miss behind, unless of course you were shooting a fairly flat away target, apologies if you haven't got to these yet! Regards the practice clip, its purely a small way to maintain condition and familiarity with your gun. The corner of the room does not move, therefore, I wouldn't want to mislead buy suggesting any forward allowance, or LEAD relating to a static point.
