Thank you for this wonderful meditation. I find it hard to feel cared about so I first made a mental list of who cares. This included God, husband, friends, and my cats. I tried them all but for some reason had the most success with the cat! I imagined her purring in my lap, the gentle vibration in her body as she purred, how warm she was and the way she smelled, sort of musky pleasant. Only then when I had these physical sensations could I feel cared about.
