You can use the nous and take off the ons off the conjugated verb to make it easier like Finisson to Finiss- you are a great teacher and you made us improved our french Merci beaucoup

Another question . Should be not use the NOUS of the PRESENT tense in the formation of EVERY verb in the imperfect tense? That's what i read in another place.

The last one was confusing. Are we putting the sentence into the past because we were instructed to or because it should be obvious from the sentence? Eg I'm sure "de" is the negation of" de la" and " du" BUT then Alex said she forgot the "la" which would mean it would not be obvious that we should put it the negative form! Help
