Alicia, my friend, you are a Mind Reader! I have been so confused by all of these new balms, but I wanted one. Like you, I am a fan of 06 in Suqqu. And love that formula. But I ordered Sugared Maple from Prada this morning, and was very unsure. Lisa's Metropolitan has a grey in it, that sucked all the color out of my face. And it didn't condition that well, and didn't have a lot of pigment. I was eyeing the Lancome, but couldn't get that excited. But I had had Sugared Maple in my cart at Sephora since it launched. Didn't want to spend $50 for a Lip Balm. But that color could be my Holy Grail. I Love it on you! So fingers crossed. I needed this video. Thank you so much!💚
I can’t wait for you to try Maple!!! 😍 And I’ll post about Pat’s Divinyls and Astal balms, which were my first hybrid lip products. I completely forgot about those. I think you will love Maple. I picked up Guava because I’m WEAK 😭

I picked up the Suqqu Moisture Glaze earlier this year because of you! And I’m so happy with it as my everyday lipstick that the Lisa Eldridge balms were an easy save for me. You’ve now made me curious about the Prada haha but I prefer warmer shades so I guess the limited shade range also saves my debit card 😅
Ooohhh, Prada’s lip products are amazing! I love both the Soft Matte and Hypermatte lipsticks so much. I just got the lip balm in Maple (my son’s cat’s name so it was fate!) and I LOVE IT!! Now I want them all! The Suqqu is different enough for me in formula that there is room for both!! 🥰 I love the feel on my lips more with the Prada and Suqqu over the LE (although I’m glad I have Sweet Fig because that light warm brown is unique to my balms.)
I share your sentiments in regard to Lisa’s balm. Is nice, but I do feel both the Prada and Suqqu lippies feel silkier. And yes, we definitely have room for both 🙆🏽♀️ Especially since the upcoming Autumn collection from Suqqu includes shades that are MEEEEEE 😭🫣
I have Noisette and it is perfect! I tried it on in store without ever hearing about the product before. Immediately bought it because I’ve been looking for my perfect lip color everywhere and this is it!!! Great review

I will definitely try the Prada balms. I don’t mind the French luxury lip taste, so I will be ok with that. I will say the the Lisa balms do have an unusual taste that does wear off but not my favorite. Also, they are sticky for. Long time and my long hair does get stuck on it. The balms do help my lips so I am enjoying them. Thank you!
I can’t pinpoint the Lisa taste, but it’s strange, right? Which is why I prefer the luxe taste, which still not great but more comfortable? You understand 🤣
darn. I thought I had purchased all the suqqu for the year but those balms for fall. Now I see the Prada. May have to wait for a sale but they are on my list.
I purchased the Prada Beauty Balm in the colorless shade 000 last week. I love all their lipsticks but find the Ultramatte formula just a tad bit drying. I use the beauty balm under the Ultramatte lipsticks and it is a miracle worker! Note: I call that feeling you mentioned of being able to taste the smell of a tasteless lip product , “the gack”. I feel like I am trying to gack up a hair ball. I don’t notice it with Prada but I do with Chanel lip products.
It certainly is the gack 🤣 Chanel can do that as well, but I feel that Lisa’s gack is the most odd one out of all of them. And wearing the balm under the hyper matte is a great combo!
I can't wait to purchase all of Prada's Balms, especially the tinted ones. I'm simply being a good girl and waiting for them to be reduced at Selfridges due to being the only place I can purchase from. I don't know if any of Prada's Cosmetics have yet to come to our shores. We have their fragrances here but no make-up. I also want to get more of Rabanne's Lip Balms and Glossy Lipsticks at a cheaper price to Prada. If I have to hang on until the end of year sale, so be it. It's so frustrating when these brands forget all about Australia and New Zealand. Loving the colour from Prada's Balms, which my lips desperately need.🇦🇺💖👩🏼🎨
Australia and New Zealand need the balms! 🤣 I just snagged some Suqqu lip products that got reduced on Selfridges. And I caved and purchased “Portrait” from Prada because Nordstrom hasn’t have it for months, it’s sold out on Bloomingdale’s, and buying it from Selfridges would’ve been the same since the shipping and duty fees brought it the US value 🤣
@@aliciaarcher That's good news about another palette! Can't wait to see it on you. You guys are so lucky with the amount of places to secure these brands. Even Suqqu has to be ordered from Selfridges too. It gets pretty hot down here during Summer and the dry freezing temperatures of Winter don't help my lips at all. When I find a good product, it's more convenient to be able to purchase locally. You wouldn't believe all of the brands that refuse to deliver here, not exactly fair. If you ever see Prada reduced prior to Christmas at Selfridges, please let me know! I pay for yearly shipping from Selfridges, so that takes the sting out of the price, providing you order from there enough. It's very rare to ever get luxury brands reduced here, so I had a ball at Christmas from Selfridges. Even scored Natasha Denona's Biba Palette heavily reduced. By the way, that would be a good palette to pair with Golden, just a thought.💖
Colored balms are not worth the money, my opinion. I will use Prada Tonka lipstick and a gloss or balm on top. A other y-tuber showed the nivea berry balm similar to Prada Maple that was very interresting comparison? But the maple Prada-balm looks very nice on you Alicia 💙

Ahhh these are so gorgeous! 🥰I'm so drawn to them but the scent in the Universal balm, which I adored, was far too overpowering for me. I used it up but every time I wore it I felt like I was eating iris flowers. I never had this happen with another scented lip product to this degree. The matte lipstick I have is also scented but doesn't seem to be as much as the balm. Such a shame as the formulation and components are so beautiful. 😑
That’s exactly what it’s like, munching on flowers 😭 But perhaps the taste/scent is not as overwhelming in the tints as they are in the original balm? I’ll have to check my sample 🤔
