Prado 150: Traction Control Off to ON 

I'm confused, every other video shows traction control should be turned off in soft sand because it often cuts power when you need it the most.

there is a difference between TC (computer brakes and not retard engine power) and ESP (stability control where computer brakes and cut engine power)- ESP should always be off (L4 and centrelock engaged it automatically happens, on prado 150 anyway). So first go, TC off, wheels spin in rut- second go, computer brake spinning wheel, therefore sends drive to wheel which still have enough traction to maintain forward momentum
