HELLO PRAGUE! Sights, attractions, Czech Republic travel!
An organisation called Pragueulic is giving guiding jobs to a few selected and suitable homeless people. To help them get back to a possible normal life. So the job of these homeless guides is not to show the beauty of Prague, but to show the other side that nobody wants to see.
- There will be talk of prostitution, drugs, infections and violence, so the guided tours are only recommended for adults.
The guided tour starts from the main train station, for decades the park here was one of the most dangerous parts of Prague, even in the early 2000s it was not recommended to come here after dark. The park and its surroundings are still colloquially referred to as Sherwood, a reference to the former danger zone, which is now less dangerous but still not pretty.
