As we were taking early trains to Brno and Olomouc on the two mornings, we caught up with the night service trams as they gather each hour of the night at special stops in Lazarska in Central Prague.
The night services have been recently renumbered 91 to 99 (previously 51 to 58) and they spend 7 minutes on both sides of the hour together so that customers may switch from one tram to another to cover most of the suburbs of Prague. Service numbers from 51 to 60 are now reserved for trolleybus services as trolleybuses return to Prague once more.
Most of the night services are operated using Tatra T3R.P trams working as single units.
