Hi Barry.. its joe from guardamar keep the faith mate she will get better. I know what your going through Barry as Diane went into hospital to get her gallbladder removed and had complications and she spent the next 2 weeks in icu seriously ill. If you need a chat just get in touch. Joe & Diane
Great Barry me and Diane thinking of yous a hard time for both of you at the moment but Karen will get better and you and Karen will get back to the great life you have in spain.
We are so lucky we can spend our working life in Spain. This makes me personally want to tell more people around the world how good, safe and happy Spain is to live in. We are full of emotions reading there messages and so humble. We are just normal people. The world and people and so kind.
I had a subdural hematoma while in Alicante last year. I needed surgery and was in hospital for a few weeks. I don't speak Spanish, but the care and treatment I received was incredible. I will be forever grateful to them. They saved my life! Spanish healthcare is amazing!I think your wife will be very well cared for. Sending love and prayers 🙏 ❤ 🙏
I lived in San Luis, Torrevieja, and needed hospital care. I can’t speak highly enough of the hospitals. UK should take note. I pray for the best outcome 🥰
😢Barry, my husband is feeling your pain and says keep positive and strong for Karen and yourself. I was taken into ICU last year with sepsis, we were totally shocked as I thought it was a chest infection. Within 1hr of being taken by paramedics to our local Staffordshire hospital I was being sent by blue lights to stoke ICU having arrested twice. 6wks later I'd got though it and pneumonia. With in 5days of being in ICU they'd found a huge tuma in my colon and appendix. I believe There is a reason for everything in life. If I'd not had that 1st MRI I'd never have known about my colon cancer untill it may have been too late 🙄..??.. BUT my husband was by my side for the whole 13mths of my treatment. Both of you are in the right place.. We are all here for you.. Both! Don't you forget to eat and look after yourself. Karen doesn't want to come home to you being bad because you are too physically exhausted and drained to cook. I'm sure you both have a great friends support network so please use them. I've now found out my friends kept my husband in food and company all the time I was ill. Give Karen all 💪. We'll keep her/you both in our 🙏.. All the best Wendy & Steve
That's great to hear that Karen is getting the care she deserves send you a big hug from Ireland I am sure the Spanish 🏥 🏨 are brilliant please tell Karen we are thinking about her get well soon ❤
Keep strong. It’s so good that you can share your thoughts. It’s also so important for your well-being at this time. Spanish hospitals are super. They try so hard speak some English which, on top of everything else going on, is much appreciated when we feel at our most vulnerable. Hugs for you both ❤
Come on Barry, you are a strong lad and Karen is a strong lass. You’ll get though this dear. It will make you all the stronger. It natural that you are worried, it shows how much you care. Be good to yourself as Karen needs you to be strong. Give that dog a huge cuddle when you see it. It helps to sooth your worry. I’m sending every positive thought I can muster from Fife.❤️💕❤️It will work out pal💕❤️
I think you are stronger than you think and so is your dear fiancé, just be patient and time will pass, before you know it, things will be normal again. Best wishes

Yes spanish hospitals and doctors are fantastic and i can say that first hand as husband took heart attack in spain couldnt get better treatment and i kid you not you could have eaten of the floor it was spotless, got two stents and flew home six weeks later. My nephew got a phone call from the surgeon as he stayed in spain and was point of contact for us out there, he was enquring how my husband was, dont think you would get that in uk, so be assured shes in best hands out there. Wishing her well.,🥰
Hi Barry. Such a shock to hear what's happened. We will both 🙏 pray for you both. Especially for healing for Karen. We are big "fans" of your channel (as you know) we're here in torrevieja for a few days more, if there's anything we can do ?? .. Paul x
Sorry to hear this, wishing your wife all the best and a speedy recovery..stay strong and have faith. Thinking about you guys throughout this extremely difficult time
God Bless you both. I am praying for you both. I was in a similar situation with gallbladder complications, it was a very difficult time but I recovered and that was seven years ago now. I pray that Karen too will recover. She has so many people caring and praying for her and you too. 🙏🏻xx
They looked after my dad very well when he had a heart attack. And my mum was raving about the food in the hospital restaurant which has to be a first.
Absolutely shocked to hear your news Barry sending you both our love and prayers x x stay strong and keep that positivity going Karen will get better and she WILL be back home again with you soon ❤
Hi Baz, I hope Karen is keeping as well as can be expected and that you're looking after yourself too mate. Keep the faith and you have a family of thousands out there thinking of you both at this difficult time
Hello Barry, I to was in the same position as you we lived in Denia and I went to A & E. during covid in 2020 they rushed me in and found that I had an infected Pancreas, due to gaul bladder problems. I was in there for 7 days and never felt in better hands, yes it feels a lonely place in a foreign country but they will give you the absolute best care. My wife has had an operation in the last few weeks with ongoing complications, in U K, I am not saying that they are not trying but can't help feeling that things would be much better if we still lived in Spain. We wish you and your partner who I believe is Karen the very best and a speedy recovery
Been in this position once with my wife it’s not a great place to be in actually it’s terrifying having to put your faith in others to help someone you love im forever thankful to the doctors and nurses and all who helped her stay with me so I hope all goes well for her and for yourself just be there it’s all you can do and stay strong best wishes from myself too you both
Karen is in the right place they will look after her and you clearly love her and feel lost but you need to look after you whilst she is being monitored. Hard but stay strong for all. You got us all to talk to and help. ❤
So sorry ..I hope she recovers My daughter was seriously ill In I biza. She needed major surgery. The health care was prompt and fantastic. She had her own room and there was a spare bed if relatives wanted to stay. Sheets changed every day. She decided to live in Spain. One 9f the reasons was the good health care.
Changing sheets everyday doesn’t mean a good health care system. But they have an excellent system in Spain. They were brilliant when my dad had a heart attack.
I'm sorry you are going through this but scaring me as I had my gallbladder out and have mucous in lungs and on antibiotics. I have to get scanned of heart and lungs too!
Los mejores deseos para la rapida recuperacion de su esposa.Los medicos españoles son de lo mejor que ella puede tener ahora mismo,y se recuperara.Saludos y mucha fuerza a los dos.
