Could also be the platform he’s on. One I played on at a church had some flex to the floor so the stands wobbled around more.

there's definitely post mixing. i took quite awhile to get a nice mix & still improving. started out with using the aviom mix to get the drums + bass focus and putting everything at the back (Backline being my inspiration). this was like 80% of the work which resulted in a blended mix rather than multi-tracks which i didn't have access to. so just had to make do but tbh it felt like a blessing in disguise as i had less post processing to do. after that I got foldback to add drum trigger samples into that aviom mix and voila i have a fuller mix. if you want you can check out the difference between my first few videos + most recent videos.

My question to you is the context of how to you are using this verse. Especially back then I would say please go watch a video explaining this chapter. As for me I’ll say this I doubt anyone is thinking the same I’ve play bass for my church with a hat and a cowboy hat on at one time. It’s like everything God looks at the heart. As for that verse the Corinthian church had women were the hats to identify who was a hooker/prostitute and who wasn’t. The hats weren’t because of worship. There’s a lot of digging you have to do other than using a verse to fit a narrative my guy stay blessed even if you disagree.

@@backlineresource8129 that part. this song doesnt need intricate kick drum patterns. it would throw it off the song imo. theres a place for it. the straight kick in this song is the glue imho.

They look like heartbeat cymbals. The hi hats could be heartbeat vintage. A classic or epic crash and ride. And a custom or custom dry crash. Maybe?
