Ewww weeeee! Those bass chords, runs, and facial expressions are absolute🔥. Haha Quick question, is most of that bass tone coming from the actual Fodera bass? definitely can't get those real low notes on a 4. Looks like he is tuned down a half step on his 5. You could tune down a half step to at least hit that low Eb
Hey Corban! I was going to suggest what Kevin already suggested above. Half step down should work out fine on a 4 string. You will just have to voice the chords differently. Hope that helps!
Nick, is the bass tablature available anywhere? I would love to be able to play this. The fills are unbelievable. I think I hear a chorus pedal. Maybe there is an additional delay pedal? How do you get that tone?
This is a great part and a cool video, but the audio and video are not from the same take. ☹ It would be cool to hear what he was actually playing live rather than a recording/overdub. Look at 1:27 to 1:30 for example. It would have been great to see how he was playing that shake, but he's clearly playing something completely different.
