So much nice comments here from all race groups thats within South Africa. His movies made so many laugh and feel special to be South Africans. The late 90's brought so much hope and excitement for SA. Too bad the new South Africa has gotten crime infested and corrupt. Thanks Leon for the laughter.
I watched this film about 22 years ago. This particular clip always stuck in my mind. It still makes me laugh every time I think about it: taking that toll money and sending child to go and buy him food and drink from the shops. Absolutely hilarious.
2:30 was probably the best one yet😂😂😂😂😂: "do you know what's harvesting?", "No I haven't got a clue what's harvesting", "Daai pap wat julle eet..."; "I DON'T CARE ABOUT PAP, OTHERWISE I MAKE YOUR WIELE PAP"😂😂😂😂😂😂
From 4:00 onwards, the farmer busts a nut at the other vehicle being let through. After being told that the other driver went through because he/she's black, all i got was him pointing in rage at his pigs, yelling about how one was black with a lighter stripe in between. What you'd want to be?! BLACK & WHITE?! You want the Technicolour or what you want?! Oh God, my sides XD
Desmond Dube as Minister of Health ...Mr Zuma's ex-wife - she had two liver transplants, siestog... he was hilarious... & Schuster in top hat with loud hailer at entrance of Shopping Centre announcing every shopper loudly... still laughing... Bless u Leon for all the gr8 laughs...
LMAO This is brilliant, oh my gosh if you can understand the context of the situation in this time period in our countries history makes this even more funnier. Leon is a genius.
@@thedude4795 this was when South-Africa just came out of the Apartheid regime. So whites and non whites were at the begining stages of integration and all races in the country were not fond of each other. This was the first time were all South-Africans were seen as and treated as equals. Can you picture that a white South-African must submit to the authority of a non white South-African when all they had ever known was that non whites were deemed lesser citizens and now they are faced with the reality that they are now equal. Hence Leon lets the black guy through without paying to push the buttons even further to evoke rage in the white guys. Its a brilliant depiction of stereotypes with a slight hint of comedic racism.
@@m2ranojaholo79 exactly... He must know that their days of abuse are gone, it will never return. We will build a more humane world, one stone at a time

wow, beautiful. I'm American, this is the FIRST TIME I've seen a black person on a HORSE! Plus, the older gentleman in the green hat has such a kind face.
Whiskey was R50 in 1997 wow.. That was pretty expensive... I would think whiskey is not R300. Almost more than 22 years from 1997. That whiskeybis cheaper now. Compared to 1997.
