This shows how different the paths a society takes can be, in America they have a nervous breakdown when even mentioning race. In South Africa, many of us were united in laughter around a white man in the highest quality "blackface" you've ever seen. I wonder how long it will last before they try to "cancel" this?
That old man was Al Debbo, a popular South African comedian, singer, and film star from 1949 to 2007. He appeared in about 20 movies in his career. Al was also involved in charity work for the blind.
Problem with him is that he pushes people to their almost breaking points and then laughs as he takes off his disguises. Then forces his victims to laugh alongside him.
I've also come to realise a good bit of this is staged. You can see in the manner that they hit him; they are holding back. But there are some clips where people seem so taken a back I just can't beleive it's fake, suc as the lady at 15:50 I heard old ladies use that tone too many times in life
