M9 News Journalist Nishant sat down with HanuMan Director Prashant Varma ahead of the release of the film on January 12th.
The director spoke elaborately about how he started the film as a Telugu film but became a Pan-India film later. "I feel it is a divine blessing. Our Producer should get the credit. He did not compromise and made the film without any compromise," he said.
He also explained how HanuMan is not a Big Scale film like Baahubali but it is a small film with so many special elements. He acknowledged the confusion in the audience on that aspect. He also revealed the Devotional quotient in the film.
"There are three songs and 4-5 blocks which will work big time. The audience will enjoy the film big time in theaters," he said.
The young director spoke at length about the clash with Mahesh Babu‘s Gunturkaaram, and how certain people are giving them indirect threats to back out.
"We do not want to be Sankranthi Winner. We are okay with the second position. In fact, we are okay even if we are in third. If this film works, we will continue to do something different or else, we will also do regular films," he said.
He also spoke about Balakrishna's Unstoppable and the role of the actor‘s younger daughter, Tejaswini Nandamuri.
