In the end, all three gain: the interviewer, the interviewee and the viewer... Incidentally, the new generation may not be aware that Karan Thapar was the country's first production trained TV journalist outside Doordarshan...As I remember, Karan Thapar was India's second private TV anchor ( in English) after M J Akbar...
