How to reach Prashar Lake via transportation:
By Road:
From Delhi: Take NH 44 to Chandigarh and continue towards Mandi via NH 205. From Mandi, follow the road towards Bagi and then take the diversion towards Prashar Lake. It's approximately a 12-hour drive.
From Chandigarh: Drive towards Bilaspur via NH 205, and then take the route towards Mandi. From Mandi, follow the directions to Prashar Lake.
Local Transport: From Mandi, local buses and taxis are available up to Bagi village. From Bagi, it's a 7 km trek or a local jeep ride (if available) to Prashar Lake.
By Air:
The nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport near Kullu, approximately 70 km from Mandi. From Bhuntar, you can hire a taxi or use public transport to reach Mandi and then proceed towards Prashar Lake.
By Train:
The nearest major railway station is Chandigarh Railway Station. From Chandigarh, you can take a train to Joginder Nagar Railway Station. Mandi is well-connected by road from Joginder Nagar, from where you can proceed to Prashar Lake as mentioned above.
Trekking to Prashar Lake:
If you enjoy trekking, there's a well-marked trekking trail from Bagi village to Prashar Lake, which is about 7 km long and takes around 3-4 hours to complete. The trail passes through dense forests and offers beautiful views of the surrounding valleys.
