The Romanian minimal music movement is such a breath of fresh air. No marketing gimmicks or stunts, passionate music-driven people, an attention to detail, and no cheese. Priku, Raresh, Petre Inspirescu, etc, etc, they all have my 100% support. It says something when I have company over (whom aren't even electronic music fans) and they say something to the effect of "I really dig that music you're playing, what's the name of the artist" every single time I have a Romanian DJ playing on the system.
Romanian techno is really deep and minimal , it's disturbing and banging in the same time , it's so full of hate and love and fucking shit in the same time , it's unique the way they do it , but they are very underground.... you won't see them too much in Ibiza or USA . And yet they reach big djs levels without a fucking doubt. They deserve to be on top and they really can make a change .
very refreshing set from Praslesh, had gotten sick of the sets I've had to hear from them after moving from Bucharest and only seeing them in London or at festivals in Europe, shifting more and more towards tech house, playing crowd pleasers and drop after drop style mixing. Obviously not what Dommune is about.
