I know it’s not the best. Intending to redo it at some point. Have a new camera rig now, so that should allow for much clearer footage. Thanks for your feedback.
Pourquoi ne pas simplement dire un 11 et un 8 plutôt que de nommer les couleurs que vous vous avez choisies , pour nous cela serait bien plus simple car je choisis MES couleurs
This is the best explanation of Praw that I've seen. I think I can tackle this stitch now without any problems. Thank you for taking the time to show us an great way to do this stitch!
Thank you for this tutorial. I thought I was getting the hang of this and I was ok for the first round then it went funny on me. I chose different colours of beads and I think I will start again with the same colours as you so I don't get confused again. LOL.
Janis Dolan try issuing two different sizes as well while you are learning, that should help. Use the smaller beads for the walls and the larger for the floors and ceiling 🙂
Need to see the size of the rope and what type of clasp so I can help you. Go to my Facebook page and send me a picture so I can help. facebook.com/candcco
Question do you do these same steps with the 4 or 5 beaded ? For the first time I was able to do it. Wow I thought I would never had learned. You are the best.
Yes, you can do these steps for any number of walls. As long as you do 3 beads on the first wall, 1 on the last and 2 on all of the in between walls, this will work. Glad it has helped you
Thank you for your excellent and clear instructions. Are you able to do a video showing how to join an hexagonal prismatic right angle weave chain? Patrizia
I can do that, but it will be a little while. Going in for major surgery in the next few days and will be out of action for a while. Will do it while I’m recuperating. Maybe around 4-6 weeks time. Subscribe to the channel and you will see it pop up in the notifications.
Great explanation of that dadgum PRAW! Finally makes sense to me. And no unnecessary background music is a bonus. New subscriber from Texas, thanks! [Sincere condolences on your loss.]
RAW has always been difficult for me to learn. I hope you do more tutorials for RAW and CRAW😅. I appreciate the way you took your time and explained where the beads needed to be placed. If you don’t mind, I hope you will do CRAW next. You are soft spoken and easy to listen to. ❤🌷🌸🌹🌺🌼💐
I can do one for CRAW. Will try and do it this coming weekend for you. If you hit subscribe and the bell button you should get a notification when it’s uploaded 😁
People who gave this video a "Thumb Down" should be ashamed. Here is someone trying very hard in a very patient and friendly way to explain a tutorial (FOR FREE) and you spit in her face. "Thumbs Downs" are for hateful and unfriendly content. If you don`t need this kind of content, just go and find something else but don`t push the "Hate Button" just because you can!!!
Le Chat : NO "thumbs down" ONLY indicates that they didn''t like The video; just like "thumbs up" indicates that théy liked The video ! There is no lové and friendliness or hâteful or unfriendly meaning inany of these signs ! Furthermore if these signs are there aren't they meant To be used ?
Just found this channel, just getting back into beading after a couple of years break. I'm trying to remember how I used to weaves, so reacquainting myself by watching RU-vid. thank you for describing this weave so beautifully. I've subscribed, so I look forward to more tutorials. I'm a northern lass, so it's great to hear another northern accent. 😊
You all probably dont give a damn but does anybody know of a trick to get back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Cesar Mathias I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
The best video I’ve seen explaining the PRAW - loved your explanations of ‘wall’ and ‘ceiling’ - made total sense and I think I’m finally ready to attempt it. Thank you!
You make it look so easy. I haven't mastered this stitch yet and I hope I catch on soon. RAW is used in so many jewelry designs. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial. I just subscribed to your channel and wish you much success. ☺️
Claire bacchi thank you. I will be doing another one on PRAW soon, as I'm not too happy with the quality of this one. Anything i could do differently to help you?
I will add another tutorial with some different methods of finishing off in the next few days. I tend to use glue in clasps and ends, but there is a way of beading it closed and then adding a jump ring. I will let you know when it’s uploaded.
No, I don’t think you can, just my opinion. The reason you can make a corner in craw is because of the cubic shape and flat sides. In praw you don’t have that flat side to work off, so I don’t see how it would work. Guess there might be a way of doing a staggered finish or some kind of herringbone corner, but it would take a lot of working out.
Dingus Mann I usually start a few rows back and weave through a few beads, make a knot or two in between two beads along the way and then carry on zig zagging up until I come out of the same hole as the thread that’s running out. Carry on beading for a several rows with the new thread, then weave in the two tail ends from the thread change and snip them off
Your instructions are very good, especially using 2 colors. I’m trying to pull very tight but so much thread shows. It doesn’t look like you have much thread showing. I’m doing praw-3. Any advice?
Lisa Kirkeby wondering if it is because of the triangular shape? I haven't tried doing only 3 sides to be honest. I will give it a try later today and report back. I can say that my tension is only medium, not super tight. I am also using crystal fireline. Will come back to you x
I have given it a try. and I think it is definitely because there are only 3 sides. I used crystal fireline with turquoise 8/0 seed beads; it is noticeable, but not massively so. I took a picture, but can't upload it here so have put it on my Facebook page. If you click on the photo you can see the thread path clearly. facebook.com/candcco The only thing I can suggest is either using a transparent thread or try to colour match the thread to the beads so it is less noticeable.
Curios & Crafts Co Thanks for checking this out for me. I stitched in the ditch with 15’s and it hides the thread but the whole thing becomes way less flexible, making me wonder if it could even be used for a necklace. Anyway, it was fun learning and I tried many other tutorials before I found yours. Yours was the one that made the lightbulb go on for me, so thanks again!
@@lkirkeby Glad it has helped. I don't think it will be any good for a necklace with the 15/0 beads added, too rigid. Try it with PRAW-5, if you use smaller beads it shouldn't be too chunky.
