"I command you to conceive" is NOT prayer. The Bible literally tells us that we have not because we ASK not. This "prayer" and type of teaching is simply part of the "believe and receive", "name it and claim it," "blab it and grab it" movement which is NOT biblical. Quite frankly, it is the opposite of how Jesus taught us to pray, by ASKING. This is bad theology and it started with Jackie Mize's book on Supernatural Childbirth. These people are misinterpreting the Gospel of Jesus and what His work on the cross actually accomplished for us. They are also putting words in God's mouth and making promises that He NEVER made. This whole ideology is based on taking single scriptures from God's holy Word, ripping them from their context, and turning them into mantras. God's word was written for us and He intended for us to read and understand it in its CONTEXT. Please do NOT listen to these false teachings, and read the Bible for yourself. I will be praying for you and ASKING God to open your womb to conceive (just as He did for other women in the Bible) He is a GOOD God who loves you and knows the desires of your heart. He can NOT be manipulated by our words, and He is NOT holding out on you with secret promises that are just out of your reach. Pray like Jesus did in the garden... "IF this cup may pass from me.... but nonetheless YOUR will be done".
