No matter what specific need for answers I have struggled with, time and again the Holy Spirit has led me directly to His chosen teacher! Thank You Jesus for using David‘s timeless ministry to equip the saints „for the glory of God“! ❤🙏
I cried while listening this. Please pray for my husband and 3 children to know and receive Jesus Christ as their personal saviour not because I want them so that I’m happy but so that they will never go to hell. To God be the glory. Amen.
Your fear of hell is something to be respected and admired. Just before his passing when he was 90 years of age, I asked David why he did not retire, relax and enjoy his last days...... and he responded - it was a fear that someone may be condemned to hell ....because of something he did not do or say when he he was given the opportunity to do so -We will pray for your loved ones but at the end of the day it is their personal choice Be a role model for them in all that you do and pray for them , you will have done everything possible win them over in the end

David believed the New International version of the Bible to be the most readable and most accurate translation available using modern day language and meaning - he rwferrred to it affectionately as the nearly infallible version - I say that because one of the challenges of translation is some Greek words and some Hebrew words do not have a direct English translation Specifically the original 1984 version of the NIV or post 2012 version - in between this period the publishers took the decison to make the NIV Bible gender neutrol ( that’s the publisher not the translators ) however due to public complaints this decison was reversed in 2011 and the current edition resembles the original David was also an advocate of the KJV however the reader has to understand the meaning of words in medieval times which or s not understandable to most today - words change meaning over time eg the word ‘ prevent ‘ today means to stop something from happening - when KJV was written prevent means pre - event meaning to anticipate or predict Naughty: Long ago, if you were naughty, you had naught or nothing. Then meaning evolved and it came to mean evil or immoral, and now, today if you are naughty you are just badly behaved. Incontinent (2 Tim3.3) = unrestrained ‘false accusers, incontinent, fierce..’ If you understand the meanings of words in medieval times this is not a problem David also made his own translations or more accurately ‘interpretations’ of some verses , paragraphs to make a specific point, through his own knowledge of Greek but he never attempted translation of large sections of the Bible.
Why does he say in 50.30 " Help us to pray in such a way that goodness flows out of us"? He says that twice. Does it mean that when we pray and goodness flows out, we become more bad? I know it seems unlikely, but i don't know why he says that. This is not for criticism, but for my benefit. Even if there isn't an explanation, i will be content. God Bless.
