When I went there in 1966, it was not so built up. There was only the house and a perpetually gushing spring of fresh water emerging from the ground near the house. I felt Mother MAry' s presence. There was alot of spiritual energy there. i shall always remember this experience.

I was there about 10 years ago. It is absolutely the holiest place I have ever visited. You will be enveloped by Our Lady's love and peace. If you are fortunate enough to be able to visit it, you will be blessed immeasurably.

🌏🌿I visited this place 22 years ago. It was truly a wonderful pilgrimage, journeying with a diverse set of people. Wayback then it was also called Mama Mary's House of Peace. And I guess it was then that my Marian calling started to feature more vividly into my missionary life. Now, I am a Consecrated Virgin Living in the World, inspired by Our Blessed Mother's Life as well as quiet yet very profound Lessons. MAMA MARY, THANK YOU! In 2016 I’ve been there too with the group of friends “ Turkey 🇹🇷” Ephesus! It’s a wonderful experienced “ hiding place of Mama Mary” to keep her safe by one of disciples of Jesus.🙏

I was within minutes of being there 5 years ago when we visited Ephesus, but the taxi driver tried to change the fare on us after we had agreed on a different sum and we ended up not going. It hurts me to this day. Kudos to Turkey for acknowledging that this is a place of worship. It is almost inconceviable to me that these walls at some point in time bore witness to our Holy Mother. It is almost unbelievable that she may have grazed these walls as she walked from room to room. A tiny place on earth where satan did not dare visit.

Because in Quran their is one chapter dedicated to our Lady, she's the only woman who had one chapter dedicated to her the chapter called Mariam. I think that's why they there. After reading that chapter it's help me converted from protestant to chatolic.

I have to say that I haven’t been, although I live reasonably nearby. It looks lovely, but I didn’t visit because I found out that it’s a fake - originally an old farmhouse that was turned into a shrine. When I asked locally, I was asked to “Please not tell anyone” as it would damage tourism. I have no religion, but this place seems to have a powerful effect on those who do.

My husband and I visited the Church in Jerusalem ..Bethlehem and the Wailing Wall.. we saw Golgotha at a distance missed the Gareden of Gethsemane as the gate was already closed when we arrived in the vicinity..the experience reminds me of the life of Christ..his birth..ministry..death on the cross and resurrection M Mim Bethlehem

But wait a minute here! I heard that the grave of the Virgin Mary has never been found, because after Jesus was resurrected, he found his mother and she was consumed into heaven! The Virgin Mother never experienced a physical death! She doesn't have a grave! Not sure if I'm right but I do believe that is the official catholic explanation about why her grave has never been found!
