#螳螂 螳螂是昆蟲界的勇士,戰鬥力不可小覷,而大型螞蚱力量較大,看看螳螂能否戰勝它? The praying mantis is a warrior of the insect world. The fighting power cannot be underestimated. The super grasshopper is more powerful. See if the praying mantis can defeat it?
Excellent video. Love your content. I’d recommend more variety in the cages as in plants and more green and brown background, so their camouflage could play a part in their fights.
@@SupaDupaJetSwag this is how it should be... this is a fight to the death. Their camp shouldn’t be a part of a fight that supposed to display fighting capability

There are two things I've learned in regards to acceptance of animal cruelty. Bugs don't matter, and it's not cruelty as long as an asian is doing it. This is both of those things.
I was going to comment that the mantis needed a small tree limb, with some bark on it, for a substrate. It can get a good grip on something like that, and not lose its footing, like it does on loose gravel, or a flat, smooth surface.. When putting something venomous, or bigger against a mantis, the mantis needs that good footing, to improve its odds of living.
@@Pleiades_Erret If you are replying to my post, I said nothing about an "apex predator", or a grasshopper. You might have replied to the wrong post, by mistake. If so, no problem. I've done it before, too.
@@Pleiades_Erret I get your point, for this video, in particular. My comment was some out of context for this video, with the defenseless grasshopper. I may have made the comment before watching it, because of the gravel, which the mantis was surprisingly stable on, in this episode. The grasshopper couldn't hop out, with the cover on the enclosure, which hopping away is its, pretty effective, main defense. I think he was just feeding the mantis and filmed it to put on youtube.
Hold up, @1:59 the grasshopper had both long back legs while on top of the glass when we r told wait for round 2....then next scene, one of those legs r suddenly broken🤔🤔🤔.....when did that happen?

Grasshoppers crickets and Katydids have pretty powerful back legs which makes perfect sense considering they use them to jump relatively gigantic distances And the grasshopper and the Katydids back legs also have spikes on them It is like being smacked with a catapult except instead of a basket at the end of the catapult it is replaced with a spiky baseball bat and if you were an insect pets like the force of being smacked with a refrigerator Not good for any insect Small grasshoppers can teach the praying mantis on messing with a single kick and the bigger ones can do serious damage or even kill a mantis with a kick to the head or abdomen
