The difference in the rim widths (8" in the front and 9" in the back) can also cause problems Discount Tires and other service places. When I went into Polestar last month, they told me Discount had put one rear wheel up front and the corresponding front wheel in the back. I felt silly for not noticing this, but the identical front and rear tires make it hard to tell. I guess the moral of the story is to always check rim width with a tape measure after servicing the wheels/tires!
Nice.Welcome to the 350KW club, hehe.Regarding your rims, the back rims are wider than those in front.Non performance cars have the same wider rear rims.
Have a Model 3 AWD, sitting in my car and on the iPhone Tesla App I bought Acceleration Boost option. 10 seconds after I hit buy my MCU (screen) reset and when it rebooted I had the update. So Buy to complete "install" or software unlock was about 3 minutes (stickers never came 🤣).
I purchased a 2021 Launch Edition Polestar 2 as well (mine is the magnesium color) and the stick on the door was the biggest pain to pull off. The sticker cracks and doesn't peel off correctly. It took me about an hour to peel it off and my paint got nicked a few times as well. Not fun.
I can't find this answer. Can I use Android Auto with the "older" Polestar 2? I saw Carplay is able to be used but I like Android Auto more so than Android Automotive OS that your car comes with. Used prices for this car, 2021/2022 with less than 10k miles seem to be a great deal. 36k ish. Thoughts on that kind of deal?
Before 4.2/4.3 seconds 0-60. After now that I have launch control car is telling me 3.89 seconds, could potentially be faster if I stiffen my suspension. To be honest the car is fast enough haha. Your husband will appreciate if he likes to pass other cars in 40-60 mph traffic.
Except in build quality and overall premium vehicle acumen. Let’s be real about it, the Tesla is the econo-box of EVs. Don’t get me wrong, economy is great, but its not a premium vehicle. If you are happy with then great. But for most adults, “destroying” people at red lights isn’t the most important factor.
@Jay Em model 3 is a great car, in my opinion, even the base car is fantastic especially now at $39900. , quality is great now, it's my second one, many people have it that I known, and all love it. Polestar 2 is OK, but way overpriced fir what you get. Not to mention using unreliable charging infrastructure.
@@tonyn3227 Problem is the Model 3 does NOT destroy this car in every way. Much in the same way the Model S Plaid doesn’t destroy the Taycan in every way. Sure, Tesla’s certainly have their pluses, but if you want luxury, Tesla’s don’t deliver. And for many coming from ICE luxury brands, Telsa falls short relative to brands like Polestar. My Polestar 2 has nappa leather - no Teslas with nappa leather. My PS2 has far superior build quality, which is primary to a premium look and feel. The Model 3 gets DESTROYED in the luxury context therefore. And there in lies the problem, the price you pay for the PS2 is the price for a PREMIUM vehicle. In much the same way you pay more for an i4 M50 relative to an M3P. On paper, the M3P also out performs the i4, but that doesn’t mean it’s better, especially as a luxury vehicle. Oh and btw, the PS2 has a far better suspension setup in Performance Pack form than the MP3, so def destroys it in that dimension. Speed is nothing without control.
