Sir u are really a lifesaver! My friends have their own tutoring with this lesson but i couldn't afford it that's why instead of having a tutor i am here listening to you!
Big Thanks! to you Sir, i'm actually a slow learner when it comes to math i'm not fond of numbers but because my strand is STEM i badly need to understand every math lesson, i'm having a hard time understanding every math lesson and understanding what our teacher is teaching us, but because of your videos i get it clearly and eloquently understand every lesson. You're an execellent Educator Godbless sir!
True! I actually just had a mental breakdown because of this lesson cause I don’t understand it talaga. It’s a good thing youtube’s free and i saw this video. Laban lang!
Parabola is actually more complicated for me. It is easy if all the components of the equation are already given but our adviser in pre-cal gave us problems where the only given is only two components like for example: we need to determine the general equation of the parabola if it's focus is (0, 5) and it's directrix is y= -5. This is giving me a hard time to understand and how to make in into a general equation since some of the components are missing. (This might be easy for some of y'all but it's hard for me huhu)
Standard form of the equation of a parabola with vertex at the origin Equation y²= 4ax y²= -4ax x²= 4ay x²= -4ay Focus (a,0) (-a,0) (0,a) (0,-a) Parabola Opens To the right To the left Upward Downward Directrix x= -a x= a y= -a y= a Axis of Symmertry y= 0 y= 0 x= 0 x= 0
I thought pre-cal is so hard until i saw your videos sir! 😄 So easy to understand and the examples are great! I will and need to watch your pre-cal videos 'till hyperbola. 😂👏
I don't know if I'm the problem or the teacher is the proboem. I've always learned better when watching your videos ever since I was in 7th grade, now im an 11th grader..time flies so fast, I don't like it. I want to be 4 years old again. Just watching Dora, Barne, and Harry potter where my problem was counting 1 to 100.
Sir the end points of Latus Rectum at 14:00 are (0,-3) & (0,3) that means the distance between these two points is 6 units. Correct me I'm wrong sir. Thanks.
Sir thank you so much for being such a good teacher im not a good learner but since when I started watching your video tutorials i have really learned a lot, i thought you are a fallen blessing, answer to my prayers, i hope you continue on making tutorials God bless you sir🙏☝️
Their common factor is "-24/5" because if you actually multiply that by four you'll get "96/5" which makes "-24/5" their common factor, can't explain it further unfortunately, I do hope that you understood it by now (been a month lol)
Thanks for the explanation, sir!! But I just ask you about the second one that you had written on the whiteboard. As I see when c < 0 of the equation x^2 = -4cy, the curve is downword. But the mark "-" will make c > 0 right? So it makes a contra sense that the curve should be upword. Make sense? 😁 Once again... thanks for your explanation sirr
@@victorrodelesbatausaii9552 Hahhahha.. First, I'm not a woman... Second, we know that the meaning of "c < 0" is always consisted of all negatif real numbers (so it's not only for the integer numbers), Third, if we have the inequality c < 0, and times the both side with negative 1, we will have -c > 0 and let p = -c, now the inequality is p > 0, and the standard form of the parabola is x^2 = 4py (when the vertex is (0,0). On the whiteboard it's downward, but the p > 0 means it should be upward (based of the equation x^2 = 4py)? Is it not contra? Thanks for your response
