He's become another Negative-Reinforcement commentary channel, like Iron Ken or even Daiper Island. I am tired of it. Show me specifics about what's wrong with a figure you're reviewing. I don't care if you don't have it, you aren't going to get it, and you hate it before it even comes out or that a bunch of people have it.
Nice to see folks figuring out that Uncle Tim’s channel doesn’t really have a point. Nothing of value is ever said on that channel. Uncle Tim is just a really nice, friendly dude and the channel is his outlet to speak into the void. It’s like he just sits in front of his camera and starts talking without really planning anything out.

Yeah, at this point, the only things I worry about pre-ordering anymore are the exclusives since those are hit and miss around here where I'm at whether they actually make it to a store or not.

I use to watch Uncle Tim so I get what you are saying. Just found your channel and subscribed. I preorder lot of what I want cause otherwise I may not find it in the wild. Toy hunting isn't what it use to be and I've been hunting for 30 years. I know lot of people still enjoy the hunt but I've been enjoying the preorder. Get what I want, same price and no worries. I keep track of what I preorder, don't go crazy preordering and just keep it sane. I only order off Pulse and bought myself the membership which has more than paid for itself in just shipping alone. Walmart and other places are slow to stock if at all.

As a non-US collector, my main issue with exclusives are Target exclusives. Target won't ship to freight forwarders so I need to wait things out or find alternatives if it's something I really want. Game Stop has some other issues as well so I haven't bought from them either... In terms of following people since I've started following Preternia I haven't really missed out on pre-orders. I'll give ToyShiz a try too... BTW, Dragon-man is a Marvel character, not MOTU...

I am pretty sure he means he doesn't know when it drops meaning he doesn't know when it will charge him and ship. from what I'm seeing he cant deal with Hasbro charging you for 20 items in 1 week and not following release dates.
bad example with warbird. it sold out damn near before it went live. I was refreshing the pages nonstop for 5 minutes after it went live, and when the listing finally populated, it was sold out. It was a whoooole fucking thing. Closest thing to that is some hasbro pulse exclusive stuff, which will sometimes sell out same day.
I see it as RU-vid is Tim's diary...i dont think he really has anyone he cant sit down and talk to so he just talks into his camera. I dont watch him much these days as his videos have become the same over and over, but he seems like a real dude
Dragon Man is a MARVEL character! The old school figure with crappy articulation is going for 200 to 400 dollars on eBay! 85 bucks for a 10 inch CHONKY BOI with 2 sets of wings is a decent price when ODIN's chunky 8 inch figure is 60 bucks!💯💯
His channel is what he say it is, a channel where he rants about everything toy related. Bruh im not even tapped in all the way and i still get news of Mafex drops (Kaiju Daddy) and other figures across all brands. If you been collecting long enough you start knowing which figures are safe to preorder and which ones you can wait on to drop at retail stores. Unc Tim just be talking to talk 😂
Toy collecting is a luxury. If it’s going to cause stress or frustration then rethink/reassess your collecting habits. I agree with you! Buy what you want, when you can! Enjoy this hobby. This is why I like watching your videos, speaking facts.
Now I do understand that Tim keeps making videos just so he can have content for his channel. If you watch 90% of his videos he's not really talking about much. And all of his shorts just look like they're cut from something else they're not even complete. Think about it. His videos are made just so he can have content on his channel.

Masters of the universe just dropped the character demo Man for 20 bucks on Mattel Creations he did not sell out it has been 2 days and he is still available I just brought one this morning Extendar was the last Mattel Creations exclusive that did not sell out I just think collectors is getting fed up with exclusives I never got my two he-skeletors from Mattel creation s And ended up having to pay 20 bucks more locally which was the same price on eBay so I feel where collectors is coming from regarding some exclusives but yes I have got 9 out of 10 exclusives every time

Justin, make another video on tim ranting about the community, he started talking down and complaining, because the community back the haslab project, saying how come you back it and it's too much, sait one year to get it, almost every videos say the same thing over and over, I never seen him happy for the community and say congradulation for backing the project.
I collect Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron & even by following the Micro Galaxy Squadron social media I still miss some of the pre-orders. Recently a new batch went up for pre-order & I was able to order them all except for Kylor Ren's TIE Whisper. Already SOLD OUT by the time I got there. In the last batch, I was able to order everything but I missed the Snub Fighter. The ones I wanted the most. With Micro Galaxy Squadron you can only get them at Walmart, Target or Amazon. BBTS & EE refuse to carry the line. So some pre-orders are hard as hell. A lot of pre-orders sell out within seconds.
For that ranting guy, he just puts out videos WITH DIFFERENT TITLE BUT SAME CONTENT, ALWAYS. He just keeps on circling and sometimes you will catch him disagreeing with himself on the same video. For him, pre-orders are sold out, on Ollie's price level.😅

DragonMan is the Hasbro Pulse pre-order figure that is taking the place of the HASLAB for Marvel Legends this year. He's a Fantastic 4 character. The figure was a grail from the ToyBiz Marvel Legends lin that had a small production run and is very pricey on the secondary market

I AGREE 💯 about using Fan Channel LINKS.. the day that the Frank Castle Punisher Bushwacker 2 Pack went up for pre-order..I went RIGHT to Amazon..& typed in Marvel Legends Frank Castle Punisher & NOTHING came up.. but when I went to Strong Collectors Community section..I used their link & I was able to pre-order..& a just a FEW hours later..it was SOLD OUT! Dragon man is a fair price for a hasbro and for a large 3rd party fig it would be a $100+ easy . As far as preorder ,i do order them but its no gurantee you will get them because if a bunch of sht drop at the same time or they come early you gotta make some choices because im not spending all my money on toys . And i just had amazon cancel one of mine for no reason at all . I hate preorders and hunting is extinct in my city so im trying to finish my shelves and getting out . The thrill is gone .

I'll watch his videos on occasion just to see what he's complaining about at the moment. I kinda get where he's coming from, but it's pretty much self inflicted. Him collecing 100 different things and complaining about how much stuff costs and stuff dropping unexpectedly? Really? There are ways to mitigate all of that. And if it's stressing him out that much, it sounds like he needs to do some self reflection and reevaluate some things.

Uncle Tim talks just to be talking. A lot of stuff he says is complete cap. But all the things that he take personal, is what it is. You can't go to Tim for news or reviews. His channel is just to listen to a guy talk. And that's the only reason I listen to him as well.

Hello again. I see both of sides of the story. I saw the video that you're referring to and I came to a different conclusion. In the past few years, McFarlane, Mattel, Hasbro...etc, have all released figures that were limited availability but not exclusives. A lot of these figures are available for minutes (if that long) but the small windows on these items send out shockwaves of anger and frustration for lots of collectors. And at other times pre-order items say sold out. How does an item sell out before the production run has ended? In the past, pre-orders were treated the same way as a HASLAB is treated. The pre-order stays open for a month or longer to allow ample time for orders to be placed. It doesn't happen like that too often and there is no explanation for it. Serpentor, Dr. Mindbender, Ms. Marvel, Red Tornado, Darkseid, Dinobots and so many other popular toys that should have been readily available everywhere haven't been for a long time. Many collectors have been frustrated with what I believe is manufactured availability scarcity. I could be wrong but collectors are missing out and they have money😢
It's getting to the point where I don't find anything at Target or Walmart. & GameStop employees manager have straight up told me some local reseller.comes in every truck day & buys up anything new. Im having to just order offline or hope for Ollie's to get some bangers
Uncle Tims is very entertaining, but hes not always right. He's not always wrong, but he's not always right. The only time I get screwed is when there is a con that I didnt know about and I get to the site and its sold out. I will say that a figure should be available for 48 hours. I missed the Ferret, but Im hoping like teh trouble bubble ( which is available the last time I checked) it comes into stock later for me. None of my stores have classified in stock, but I'm going to start ordering on BBTS. I not paying that 50 for Hasbro Pulse.
Dragonman is a Fantastic Four character. I dont follow FF very close so I dont have a connection to the character. It looks cool, but it is not for me.
Opinion: I used to watch Uncle Tim, and noticed that he's always complaining and hardly happy; there doesn't seem to be a healthy balance. I do give him a pass because the warning is in his name: "Rants". It's our fault for watching.
