Here come all the "Tkachuk hoisting the Cup in the Oilers rink" trolls, like that will actually trigger Oiler fans. To be honest, whoever wins the Cup will have deserved it. I've been an Oilers fan for 43 years and will always cheer them on and I'm proud of the great season they've had this year - its been an AMAZING ride. Cup or no Cup. Whatever. If the Panthers win, I'll applaud and congratulate them just as most OIlers fans with a shred of maturity and common sense will. That's called showing appreciation for the game and your team.
This doesn’t even matter cause chukie isn’t winning the cup as a flamer. I truly don’t even hate the guy anymore, my hate for him was tied to him playing for Calgary. He’s annoying but he is the type of player you want on your own team, no different than Evander Kane for us tbh
People talk about perry curse. But perry did nothing wrong in my opinion. Most goals were scored when he wasnt playing that night but tonight perry showed up and showed out. Nice passing brother. You’re right this is what yall dream for as a kid so lets put the fire on the panthers !

Oilers when they are playing are better then Florida like I said when they playing but Florida thanks to Russia got a real good goalie On my opinion it’s shameful to lose the final in four games and on your own ice also !

I wanted to protect Skinner 2 years ago and the business/fiscal/contractual reality side always catches me off guard. I personally also had a laugh while watching an old music video of a song called "Cruel Summer".... by Bananarama... the song reminded me of the Oilers and then when I watched the end it showed everyone eating bananas which brought me right to Kenny Holland and his mantra of not wanting to buy Green Bananas....and that took me directly to Skinner who I like a lot...because its a perfect example of buying green bananas but disguised as a Head Coaches request. Skinner was green bananas...and they are lucky hes so durable mentally because after this year he will be battle scarred and thick skinned. The Oilers were in many ways cornered and forced into the spot they now find themselves by external and some pre-existing Legacy influences meeting in a confluence of white noise that would not stop. Tonights a good way for the Fans and Team to say thank you to each other and to cumulatively rise above the game itself to celebrate the tremendous growth and maturity finally realized even within difficult dynamics and for the incredible exciting rollercoaster ride the year was for all of us.
