Tanev has been eaten alive by the Oilers ever since his Canuck days. I don’t understand why people think he’s something special. Next season I give it 2 months before TSN and Sportsnet are ranking him as one of the worst contracts in the NHL.

Skinner needs to understand what being the #1 starter means. It doesn't mean starting the game with the 1rst shot in the back of his net. Leading the league with 10 first shot goals is one f-upped stat to have on your record. Jumping Jupiter Stu..please be ready for complete anarchy and chaos in the first 5 minutes of the game. Skinner played well in Game 4. The 1st shot was due to a bad defensive mistake and was an absolute snipe top corner. 2nd was a ~70 degree angle off Nurse's bum. Most goalies on the 2nd goal are assuming that's going off the boards behind the net and are preparing for such. He was lights out and made big stops after that
