Joel have you ever considered spending time in nz training and riding in your off season. Heaps of tracks to choose from. Just a thought mate.

155 is high for zone 2🤔 my polar says for me, male 23 zone 2 120-140 and zone 3 140-158. So are you that fit that your zone 2 is that high or are you actually training in high zone 3?

Maybe think about finding a good hydration supplement or drink It will raise your energy levels and fix you up after your day of riding so your not feeling depleted or tired See what’s out there and work best for you That will be better than a maccas coke Haha

I have just started using TrainAid Hydration (Heard it on Gypsy Tales) and it’s been really good for me 😁 I do love a Maccas coke though haha

Big fan of your content here in the US! Are you running stock gearing on your Yz450? I have been thinking of running 13/50 to get into 3rd gear more. Cheers!

Thanks mate! Yep just stock 13/49 for me, I typically ‘lug’ the big abit so I run 3rd or 4th most turns even with the standard gearing. But it’s definitely a good option if you want to get away from 2nd 🤙🏻

Not really mate, we are pretty lucky with most of the public tracks having a couple different tracks to spread the riders out. Occasionally it can be a little scary when someone tries to move out of the way and don’t realise you are already there! Haha
