@@gocanuckurself1he’s just another great Montreal goalie prospect, no big deal. Dobes, Fowler, Volohkin, formerly Primeau. (I say formerly because he’s probably going to be the next #1 mtl goalie)
@@fergusonogden6021 jakub dobes was the #1 in laval last year. started slowly but really played well in the second half. 5th rounder a few years ago. gotta figure he'll see NHL time this year, as he's next up in case of injury. he does have some potential. i still say the future is fowler. he reminds me of price in so many ways. volokhin will be in russia a while, but he's showing very well over there in the MHL. this year is primeau's big chance. he'll show us one way or the other whether his future is as a starter or as a backup.
THG, at the start of every preseason game: Gonna take it easy tonight. THE, the VERY next minute: Locked in, Ready, Hawk-like, records LITERALLY everything.
@@20thCenturyManTrad it's always the winning mentality if your opponent is the leafs. when was their last game 7 win? pretty sure their goalie was ed belfour when it happened.
This is what happened to the Oilers last year before the season started. Ekholm hurt himself working out in the summer, Kane was hurt and McDavid was battling something off and on, hence their terrible start
I like Berube, I think he’s a good hire for a team in need of a bit more fire than Keefe seemed able to provide (a reversal from his playing days when he earned every NHL second despite clearly being an AHL’er at best) but if Toronto finished with 87 points that’d be hilarious. 😛
it's been a while, but I thought Berube was passable in the non-punchy stuff. I think the Caps ran Eagles-Berube-Miller as their 4th line for a year or two and they could be trusted to handle defensive assignments (of course credit must be given to Kelly Miller)
i find it odd that the habs have now allowed only 2 goals in 3 preseason games but i like that MSL took all the kids up in toronto. they got demolished but on the score sheet not so much. i was expecting a 10-2 loss
Nylander dived. If he didn't dive he wouldn't have gotten his head hurt. He thought Robertson was a hab and tried to get an easy call, in a pre season game...
You can't not like someone because they requested a trade...especially off a team that over-performs during the regular season, then looks like the 93 San Jose Sharks during the playoffs when it matters.
Sure you can. When he whines like he did and acts entitled to a spot that he quite simply hadn't earned at the time. That's a valid reason to dislike someone. Don't wanna be in toronto? Leave.
That was a BAD hit, especially considering Nylander missed time in the playoff with head related injuries. It could be bad, like really bad. Like really really bad. Let's hope he's ok.
Robertson took the puck from that Mon. player and then scored a good goal . STRIPPED THE PUCK FROM CAN.PLAYER The Montreal player didn't just give the puck to Robertson on a turnover.
Habs B team looked like the Habs A team from 3 years ago, that's good! Montreal's issue is always injuries, this should help sustain production through mid-season with so much talent in development.
You Toronto fans turn on your players over nothing and wonder why no one wants to play for your team...aside from the fact they over-perform during the regular season and then look like a CHL team during the playoffs. The toxicity of your city...
Even being a Habs fan, you gotta feel bad for leafs fans on this one. What the hell was Robertson thinking? And then looking for a call from the refs. Hopefully for the leafs, Nylander is ok.
Legitimately think Nylander thought it was a Hab and dove. I don't think I've ever seen a guy fall over that easily. Now you are contributing to the Robertson hate (he has probably gotten threats already) when you are someone who probably hasn't played real ice hockey in your life.
@@Dominicanadaa it's a win-win for everyone outside of Toronto! that said, hope nylander is fine for you guys. best of luck on the season (assuming you're a leafs fan)
Nylander is a superstar, and now as a center has a new mission. Love to see it workout, but Robertson is a moron. What did he think he was doing? Seriously, making him go faster?
So a near all-rookie Habs team held its own against an almost all-regular Leafs line-up...and the Habs *won't* make the post season. OK. Well, that's why we watch sports, right? ;-)>
Bro it’s preseason it’s completely irrelevant. Last year the Canucks lost 10-1 to the Flames in the preseason. Didn’t exactly translate to the actual season lmao
