Great catches. Give us a quick run down on your tackle. I can see that ugly stick tiger lite, (great rod) but I can't tell what reel? Blue spool blue handle....

That’s a great question, I should invest in a thermometer for the water. Close to 50° because that’s the normal average temperature for Watauga river as it feeds into Boone.

@@MichaelKaal-TriFisher wow that’s cold! I put in on the other side (Davis) last weekend for first time and temps were 78-ish. Was wondering how the trout were handling it. I’d say you are doing just fine without a thermometer LOL. Was just curious. Makes sense now 👍🏻
