Pre-teen Sketching Memories and Feelings 

I used to draw out my feelings as a pre-teen, such as when I was tired and couldn't sleep, when I was happy thinking about things I enjoyed, or when I was trying to figure out how romantic relationships worked. Sometimes drawing helped me to problem solve, others times it was for fun. I'm wondering if others also did sketches for these reasons when they were pre-teens? As an adult, I find it fascinating seeing the world through the eyes of a younger me.
