Turn signals, 4way flashers secured, no damage, amber in color.
Headlights secured, no damage. Clean & clear
5 top lights secured, no damage, amber, visible from 500 ft at night. 3 middle are Identification lights, 2 outside are clearance.
UNDER THE HOOD:
Alternator and wires properly secured, no damage. Belt driven with no more than 1/4" free play
Coolant reservoir secured, no damage or leaks. Filled to proper level.
Water pump secured, no damage or leaks. Belt driven with no more than 1/4" of play. No cuts or frays.
Oil level in safe operating range.
Air compressor & power steering pump secured, no damage or leaks. Both gear driven.
Engine hoses secured, no cuts, bulges, or leaks.
Steering shaft secured, no damage or leaks. Greased at top.
U-Joints secured, no damage, greased, no free play.
Power steering fluid reservoir & hose secured, no damage or leaks. Filled to proper level.
Steering gear box secured, no damage, no leaks, and greased.
Pitman arm, drag link, steering ring knuckle, steering arm & tie rod secured by castle nut and cotter pin. No damage and greased.
Leaf springs secured, no more than 25% damage, none to main leaf.
Saddle & U-bolts secured, no damage, and tight. Loose = shiny metal on top.
Shock absorbers secured, no damage, or leaks. Rubber bushings top & bottom in good condition.
Air brake hoses, no cuts, worn, or leaks.
Brake chambers & clamps secured, no damage, or leaks.
Slack adjusters & pushrods secured, no damage, greased. Moves no more than 1" with beaks released.
Brake lining, no less than 1/4" friction material. Free of oil and debris.
Brake drum secured, no damage, round, no illegal welds, no oil or debris. If oil present may = inner wheel seal leak.
Check 3 sides of tire for any abrasions, bulges, cuts. Even tread wear across top. Same size & type across axle. Minimum 4/32" in every major groove. Cannot be recapped.
Tire pressure 100 PSI or manufacturer specification. Measured with tire guage.
Rims secured, no damage, no illegal welds.
Outer oil hub check: secured, no damage, no leaks. Oil level 5-7 on the clock. If no sight glass, remove plug and measure 1" of oil.
