I thought I'd never buy a prius, let alone ride in one. But I absolutely love my 2016, 65 mpg doing 80 mph on the highway and the most comfortable car I've ever driven. I drove it from Colorado to Prudhoe Bay and all the way across Canada to Newfoundland and back to Colorado for less than $750 bucks in gas, amazing!
I randomly decided to watch some goodwood runs. I had no idea that i would see the beast of turin doing a run. thats is a magnificent machine to watch.
Watching the priceless historic cars at Goodwood is a very significant and once-in-a-lifetime experience. However, understandably and unfortunately you will never see them doing what they were made to do - properly go like a bat out of hell in a race. It's a bit of a pity to see them go slowly and carefully.
Alot of them do get driven hard and fast. You have to keep in mind that alot of these cars were never designed to go fast around a track, rather just go blistering quick in a straight line.
"All right, everybody. Let's settle down and get started. Now, first item...we've got to increase interest in our videos. What do people like the least about watching car videos?" "The engine sounds. Definitely the engine sounds. I can't tell you how many people write to say how sick they are of actually hearing the cars." "Great! Easily sorted. We'll just play some music. Let's start with this vid about pre-war cars." "Should it be music from before the war, or exciting soundtrack stuff, or anything that in any way relates to the video?" "No, no. I want it to sound like a 1970s beer commercial." "I've got just the thing, boss."
The Fiat S76 has failed it's emissions test!. One admires these men for taking what must be very valuable rare museum exhibits and thrashing them up that hill as nature intended them to be. Hats off and salutations to them all !!!!.
Well the war wasn't all bad for race cars. The huge developments made in the aviation industry trickled down nicely to cars. As a result, engines got far lighter and easy to make, and cars became far more aerodynamic. Progress may even have been slower if the war hadn't broke out, although I have no doubt there would certainly be more exotics out there.
love the video...But whats the bloomin' music for!!! LOL.....its weird....Cars and commentary would be just fine...not the end of the world I know....thanks for the video...
Five years on from this and it seems the contributor has long since listened to their YT audience and removed the porn film soundtrack from their videos! Nice... Thankyou Goodwood.
Lot's commenting about the crazy musak rubbish and i'm wondering if the uploader has purposely added it for some reason because televised events at Goodwod don''t have that crap on.
