When gospel artists see these large crowds when they’re singing they think it translates into pastoring large groups of people. So far it’s working unfortunately
They are part of hollyweird they crave the recognition.... Travis hasn't had a hit for awhile so imagine him missing the crowd lol that's y wen celebrities say they are retired they return as guest artists on a show, play, record lol they can't leave the spotlight
When did Travis start “preaching”? I guess they all have figured out a good hustle because they don’t have to study the Word, they can just perform and get paid. These are sad times.
People are using any means possible to promote themselves, they don't want to wait on God anymore, they feel they can achieve anything with the right strategy. God help them lord.
Thanks for calling out these false Pastors who are leading many the wrong way, and everything your teaching is from Scripture. You even validated this Verse 2 Timothy 4:3
Isaiah 1:12-15....they do not regard God as holy, nor dd they glorify him before all people (Leviticus 10:3). Jude said "These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit." verse 19.
Well done in speaking to this Corey. I think carelessness in the pulpit is too alright. Men (and women) have long distanced themselves from the simplicity of the text for the charismatic entertainment that is a sorry excuse for preaching. As a Pentecostal, in terms of church culture, this kind of preaching was my weekly diet and visiting other denominations, with reason, I realise that we all preach the same way. The result of it is people serving the Lord for years and having no working knowledge of the Gospel or scripture. It breeds an irresponsible attitude to scripture and all the negative consequences of that. Travis Greene and the like should abandon the pulpit until they intend to preach Christ.
Amen....so sad but yet so true....as time goes by yes indeed there are many for years that have been active in church however they are not even on milk but chaff when it comes to the Bible
Preachers that won't Preachers the Word is bigger than these situations. I had my eyes opened when my church went through a pastor search process and couldn't find someone to simply teach the Bible. I currently travel 45 minutes to a church that preaches expositionally. It's worth the drive! 😀
I am going to say this like this. There are some that can operate in all of the offices but it's more a jack of all trades thing. Travis Greene, Tasha and them can try to peach but they aren't strong in it which is why they don't really preach. Some of them capitalize on the fame as well and figure they could be pastors and they think it's easy but realize quickly it isn't.
Praying that one day they will realize leaning to your own understanding can be a direct contradiction to God’s Will. That’s what the word is for. If this is a Christian Walk, then Lord please order my steps in your word.
What amazes me is that individuals attendance schools issue books confirming it's substance but individuals of today attending Fellowship arrive without the book of Truth the gospel our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Bible
I currently attend a church in South Florida, but i feel I'm not getting fed. It's a pretty big church, they have alot of activities & groups going on but I'm just not getting that word. It's a calvary chapel, to be exact. I know the perfect church doesn't exist, but I just desire to be cut by the word, fed & taught sound doctrine every single service. What should I do. It Seems all churches that surround me are like this, catering to the world's feelings. I long to find a church like Paul Washers, John MacArthur or Vodie Bauchmans. I'm tired of church musical chair. What should I do.???
Keep praying. Ask your friends/family. Maybe search on google for reformed churches in your area. You might have to travel for a good church! (The pastors you mentioned are reformed in their theology so a reformed church might do you well)
The problem is the Bible is not used right. People are venturing towards a tolerate gospel. Knowing the Bible in different languages doesn't matter if you don't live right
@smartchristians can you do something on biblical confrontation? I seem to run into a lot of instances in which i want to provide comments but i get met by "im not being loving enough", "not showing proper fruit", "not being kind" etc.i want to be able to bring in keeping with his word while also not being overly confrontational. All it seems i can do is just not saying anything and keep to myself. It's this the right thing to do?
No. Ask God to word your mouth, and say whatever He put in you. We can't water down the word or be men pleasers, say it in love, just like if you own child was going the wrong way, speak, don't argue, agree to disagree, stand by His Truth never give in because of the growing woke: influence dont mean right. These kind take root because they have built a big fan base and since their careers aren't careering (meaning the checks aren't checking) they move to prosperity motivational speaker and slap the title preacher, evangelist,etc with one goal in mind secure the bag.
The tares and wheat grow together until the end. The wheat are the elect (the bride) and are the ones that only have the truth. Stop trying to correct the tares.
They are all foolish please read and study your Bible pray for Godly wisdom and understanding and also ask the Holy Spirit to teach and lead you into the truths of God's word AMEN AMEN AMEN ❤
Has it ever occurred to you that the persons you referring to as "preachers who don't preach" are not preachers at all? They are pseudo-preachers/fake preachers. Leave them to themselves.
Let them teach like they want... This is what people want to see, want to hear so... God, Yeshua and Apostles talked about how members of churches should treat each other, with love but nothing about the way... It is not about us to jude but God only. We do not have to spend time to talk about people having fun in church, because Paul told us to not judge about how peple should live their relatioship with God so just let's stay focus on ourself. Preaching is a show now I spend to much time to criticize this kind of video and I am tired now so pleae brothers and sisters, stay away from this content, let's bless God and pray for them because it is too hard to change people mindset...
It is obvious your are still a child and cannot see past foolishness. ....when i was a child i spoke as a child, i am an adult and treat the Word of God with upmost respect and honor... Grow up!!! And watch the foolishness of these FOOLS!!!
At one time sitting and listening to someone talk for an extended period of time was something people did on a regular bases. There were no other options to disseminate information to a group of people. Today this is not the case and sitting and listening is not part of a lot of peoples everyday lives. I'm going to use this video as an example. You could have made a video of just you talking, explaining all your points verbally, but you didn't. You interspersed video clips to illustrate your points and in the end produced a far more compelling product. Do we need to entertained in church, no, but if the minister is just standing up there talking people will lose interest quicker that you would think. Use some slides, throw in a few short videos, be more interactive with the congregation, do something to take advantage of all the communications tools at your disposal.
