Mam.....after stich after we come out from anesthesia does stiches hurt while walking or going for urine first time after stich.......and mam if c section is planned when they remove stich...

You will be fine after one hour of anesthesia. Stitche doesn’t hurt but you will be having awkward feeling for few hours . If c section is planned they will remove cerclage stitches after 2 months of your delivery. For more information watch my full playlist on cervical cerclage

They will use speculum to open your cervix then remove the stitch it would hardly take 3-4 mins . You may feel discomfort but not pain

I have got cerclage on my 23rd week due to funnelling of cervix.doctor told complete bed rest for 1 month. So can you tell me bed rest means completely lieing down or you can sit also in bed?its been 1 week o have got the stich and i am completely on bed

You have to restrict walking a lot but you can sit as well for some time . Just remember not to sit or stand for long period of time . And it is really impossible for anyone to lie down during pregnancy time . You will face another problems then .

@@Womenworld83 thank you so much for the reply.also I feel lot of pressure kinda feeling near my urethra and bladder pelvic region. Doctor diagnosed my funneling pronlm through this intense pain only.i still sometimes feel the pressure. Little faint pain.is it normal?

Even after cerclage I felt pressure all the time . I also had on and off pain since your uterus is growing it puts pressure on cervix bladder and other body parts . Just pass this time by watching your favorite movies and indulge into meaningful things.

@@shivaniverma6852 it’s common so don’t worry. U have to take rest once you feel more pressure just sit or be in rest position. I know it’s pretty hard to pass that time but it will pass and you will be blessed mom :)

I got my done after c section. If you don’t have any complications then it should be removed around 37th week of your pregnancy

When I got my cerclage done I was not able to stand for more than 10 mins as I had twin pregnancy, I was not able to take pressure at all. If you have singleton pregnancy and if you are able to walk or stand for sometime then you can do household chores. But don’t stand for long time ,take small breaks in between. Hope it will help:)

It must be because of progesterone if you are taking . Otherwise there is no problem . It could be related to pregnancy as well
