#1. I missed 2 points! On Android connection there is backlight bleed through that happens in the corners since it doesn't fill the entire display. #2 the ueos adapter I used for type c to hdmi has started giving me problems but the display still works fine.

Can I connect a smartphone with a broken screen to this monitor and be able to operate the phone from this monitor?

I am having trouble to use the touch screen. Everything is working fine but not able to use the touch screen. Do I need to turn something on?

Awesome Review! quick question can i connect the USBC port on this monitor to my thunderbolt 4 laptop without needing HDMI connection to run the monitor?

The monitor seemed amazing, I got mine today however I am sending it back, I used HDM cable and it turns on and then the message "No signal appears" followed by another message "Power saving mode" and the screen turns off and I can't use it. Same thing happens with the type c USB. I think it might be problem with the drivers, don't really know

I'm considering buying this one BUT I know there are some caveats. These types of monitors usually have two ways to connect to the laptop: 1. Just USB-C 3.1to USB-C 3.1 cable if your laptop has Thunderbolt-capable UCB-C ports. It can send enough energy and data to power the display and use it as a touchscreen. This is a problem, since many laptops come with USB-C ports that are NOT Thunderbolt, just regular USB-C. I have a HP Envy x360 that does not have Thunderbolt capabilities. If you're connecting to the USB-C and it's not working, then you don't have a Thunderbolt-capable port and need to use the second method. Most AMD motherboards don't support Thunderbolt. 2. Use mini-HDMI to HDMI in laptop, plus a USB-C to USB-C or a USB-C to USB-A cable. This also depends on the type of USB ports you are using. If it has a lightning bolt by the USB symbol, it means it delivers energy, and it should be enough to use the screen as a monitor. HOWEVER, to use it as a touchscreen, you're almost always going to need a external power source. If you're using the mini-HDMI to HDMI and the USB-C to USB-A cords and the screen is not turning on, it means your USB-A is not powered. And even if it's powered, it may not be enough to get the screen to turn on. So you need to buy (separated purchase) a 12V 3A adapter, one that comes with many sizes of plugs to make sure it will fit. That way you have the power coming through that supply (up to 36W), the touchscreen signal going through the USB cable, and the image signal going through the HDMI cable. It's complicated because USB is (unnecessarily) complicated.
