Hey man about to do the same thing with the starter generator, does yours continue running while the motor runs or does is switch over to generating power? Awesome video
I’m not iré I remember where the wires go lol. I just pulled everything out. Wires are all there. Gotta find a spot for generator and figure out what wire kills the coil
Was wondering now can you still go in reverse or no? Doing a swap with a 420cc predator motor mine didn’t have the generator but I ripped out almost all wiring an was just going to do the electric start from the motor an start it an reuse the original Yamaha golf cart clutch!
No reverse on this one since they started the original 2 stoke engine backwards for reverse most later carts or 4 stoke ones have an actual reverse in the trans
yeah, i wasn't sure if these motors ran backward. i am putting a predator 212 in mine and am gonna use the starter genertor on the golf cart. i was hoping i could use the reverse, but not this way i suppose. thanks for the video.
