Hi Charlie, you put the tines on wrong. The spacers face each other. The inside tine has teeth that face both ways and the outside tine has teeth that just face in. If you look at the illustrations you'll see, so inside tine has spacer facing out and outside tine has spacer facing in. Thanx for posting video
Thanks for the comment. When I started using the tiller I found out I had the tines on wrong. I have it on video, I was doing the food plot last year when I found the problem.
DFromRC, the video will come live this coming Saturday morning. I must say, it surprised me. Just can't get in a huge hurry, in which I never am according to Myra anyway... lol
Same. Bought mine today and doesn't start. Guy at checkout made a point to tell me I can't return it if it had gas in it..... So how would I know it is crap and won't start unless I put gas in it? Almost like they know there is an issue
I like these little tillers. All I set out in the Summer is a dozen each tomato and hot pepper plants, and a few hills of squash. I didn't want to pay $700+ for a big tiller with a 5hp motor I won't see much use with. Crab grass is a bitch when I first break the yard up, but once that's out of the way it works it's way nice in this North Carolina red clay as long as its not too dry. I don't bother with mixing up the fuel. For the price a guy down the road is asking for ethanol-free gas, you can buy the canned fuel just as cheap.
