Man, I remember back in the day when I was a kid. Though I had heard of both franchises, I was only trully introduced to the Alien and the Predator through the first AvP movie. So you can imagine my shock when not too long afterwards I played this game, reached this Level *and found out I was gonna face Aliens.* Hahahahaha!! 😂 I was freaking out so hard! I paused the game, turned off my PS2, kept talking non-stop to my old man about _"no way! I'm gonna have to fight Aliens now! it's gonna be SUPER hard!"_ and then I only tried the game again the next day. 😂 Guess I was still impressed by that movie scene where *ONE* Alien was enough to kill *TWO* Predators. Lol
That film was never good. It's sequel was worse. But yeah, Specimen 6 (Alien played in Aliens vs Predator 2010 video game), and Grid from Aliens vs Predator (2004) did kill more than one Predator.
@@thesecondromuluan8216 I disagree, the first movie was good. The acting was really bad, specially on the main heroine, and they censored the gore on human characters, but that aside the story, the setting, the directing as a whole was really good in my opinion. I agree about the sequel, though. AvP Requiem was SUCH A LETDOWN! 😭 And it pains me, because I always imagined a sequel to AvP after that final scene in the movie! *And what we got wasn't anything like I imagined.*
@@MrDibara I first saw that film years ago. It was my first experience with Hunters from another world, with technology that rivals ours. The first time I saw parasitic creatures burst out of human chests. It scared me. I'll play a Predator game without a qualm. An Alien game? No. I have a literal Xenophobia right there. Sorry, but that's why I hate it. But I do respect your opinion.
@@graysnake8585 Weyland died 16 years before this game took place. And this game was created before AvP: Requiem. So, it's completely unknown how Hunter acquired that many Xenomorphs, let alone one.

That's an interesting theory. I don't think the queen was around here. I'm guessing Borgia industries only had access to regular xenomorphs. If the queen was around Scar was just really lucky not to run into her. The xenomorphs attacking Scar probably wanted to breed him to make a predalien/queen to strengthen the hive.
I remember HATING this level. The Xenomorphs used to kill me so friggin often, didn't help that I was the "well I can just kill them all and finish at my leisure." Type of guy. I hate to run from a fight but this wasn't that kind of level. I usually skipped this level on subsequent playthroughs.
@@rossmahon2 Not even *SHE* knows where they came from. They were gifted to her by Hunter. Where he got the Xenomorphs, no one really knows. Besides, the Xenomorph Hive in Antarctica was completely wiped out by Scar's Self-destruct device, and the Gunnison, Colorado Hive was purged. Besides, AvP: Requiem didn't even exist yet. So yeah, no one knows where Hunter got them from. It's not as if we can ask him, cause he's dead.
Honestly this is one of the few things I can't stand about CJ. All of the Alien references should have been nixed at the concept stage. Hopefully, someday, we'll see a Predator game that is truly a Predator game only and not shoe horning alien references.

Bullshit. AVP2's Predator campaign was far more in line and true to the source material than CJ. CJ was horribly fan wank writing and they could have done far better in that regard. The only thing the game really has going for it is the Scarface Predator as a character.
@The Sci-Fi Dragon Predators, plenty of comics don't rely on the AVP source for the Predator lore as well as the novels [speaking as an owner of both] Not to mention the upcoming hunting grounds doesn't seem to have any ties with the alien franchise, granted it's still a bit early to speculate. But I'd say as a whole your theory is flawed.
