True Hollywood has a bad habit in messing the story up, thus if they do make such a movie i hope it has a good in-depth on a good budget story worth watching. If it gets turn into a single/ co-op player game then i hope it lives very well and true to the stories and build upon to a greater story followed by great efforts made in both programing graphic and excellent play out of the cinematics of the story and gameplay so it be worth playing. Don't know if they will get it right but hoping they at least will do their best to get as close to our expectations as possible..
Amazing they actually got Arnold to do these. Granted the guy doing the Terminator in MK11 was hand-picked & is really close, but there's no mistaking Arnold's unique inflections.
@@TomClacy5871 I think it's not too far off, since they got Arnold to pick who would do it & the OK to use his approximated character voice. Trust me, there are far worse versions out there that would make it seem more comical than serious.
It's slightly off in MK11, but it's one of the better Arnold impersonations I've heard. I just wish Arnold would come back and do a legit Predator sequel like we've been wanting since the original film came out.
Arnold sitting in a recording studio smoking a big cigar reading the lines getting back into Dutch. Just awesome. Give me a whole video game of this, hunting down Predators across the galaxy on wild alien planets with crazy weapons tech and gadgets, chomping cigars and spitting one-liners.
Its really awesome to see that Arnold actually did the recording rather than a wall of text, or somebody else does the voice over. I know Predator 2 was a total opposite of what Predator 1 achieved, but I still enjoyed it. It would be interesting if they had a different voice recording done by Danny Glover, or somehow along they way, Dutch contacted Lt. Mike, even if its just a recording of a conversation between Arnold "Dutch" and Danny "Mike" Glover .
And just when you thought Dutch couldn't get anymore badass. He's become a hunter of the hunters, has a trove of Yautja hardware and a net scar to show for it, and he's apparently achieved biological immortality to boot! I really do like that they've included the longevity and regeneration bonuses that come from humans ingesting Yautja blood. But these recordings and the previous ones left by Sean Keyes are starting to paint an ugly picture. With the climate change coming to the planet and the rise in conflicts, the Hunters are increasing the frequency of their hunts. And while we are getting stronger, the Predators aren't slacking off either. Something tells me that female may have been an Elite of some kind, perhaps sent on a mission by a Clan Elder to send him and the OWLF a warning. I have a feeling that Dutch is going to encounter her again at some point, and only one of them will walk away with the other's head.
Dutch lost to two different female Preds according to these tapes. He's definitely known by the Yautja higher ups. I really hope they eventually address why Sean Keyes helped a captured Predator escape from Stargazer in the prequel novel Hunters and Hunted. That could set up some conflict between Keyes and Dutch. I also like how the portrayals of the female Preds is in keeping with what we see in AVP: Prey where Dachande remarks several times about how strong, lethal, and smart the females are, even more so than the males, though the strenght and lethality is largely due to them being about twice the male's size. A fully grown female Pred is about the size of the Upgrade Predator.
well about fusing the Yautja blood with human it work but in horrible way....im surprise that Dutch never end up Hunter Borja in Concrete Jungle...he still talks like human and he said he is still look like 40....not in monster predator form
kane nightroad Well, Dutch only received one dose, and as a transfusion. Hunter Borgia deliberately ingested multiple doses of the blood and performed gene therapy to bind the Yautja essence to his own DNA.
@@kanenightroad4205 Not quite. Dutch is pushing 78. He stopped aging, but his age didn't reverse. He said he's 78, but *moves* like he's in his 40s. Moves, not looks.
@@kanenightroad4205 Well there are ways to gain 'semi immortality' from merely ingesting Yautja blood or eating their hearts. What Borja did was straight up genetic modification, hence why he went 'bad'.
alucard624 they should do what they're doing with Halloween series make a sequel that follows the original movie, it should be called "Predator Part 2" or anything and continue where the film ended with Dutch in the copper.
Fun Fact: In the original ending of the Predators movie (2010) a Yautja spacecraft landing near Isabelle and Royce, the 2 of them were convinced that the Yautja crew of that ship would kill them instead the Predators waited for their leader to get off the ship, their leader he had several trophies on his armor and it would turn out to be none other than Dutch himself who would pay a Royce a compliment right before the credits.Unfortunately, all of this is removed from the script due to Arnold rejecting the part. However, the director said he would have liked this idea in a Predators sequel film, but now I'm afraid it's too late.I like to believe that if Arnold had accepted this idea perhaps the Fuggitive Predator from The Predator (2018) would have turned out to be a member of the Dutch Clan. From the Audio Tapes of this game we know that Royce after obtaining his Predator armor abandoned Isabelle to look for the Yautja, so perhaps the Fuggitive Predator was an ally of Royce.
From Predator 2, there was a very small quick Easter egg of her being recorded in Key’s station. Probably explaining what happened after the events from the jungle in the first Predator film but nothing else was said about what happened to her. I’m very interested to know what happened to Royce on the planet?
This is great... the story works and would be a great lead into a true predator 3, i hope it is a marketing tactic but, i am just being wishful, the predator blood and healings of radiation would be a great Segway and part of the movie taking place in 2025
...i think i just realized the Predator Killer armor in that last Predator movie... was actually for Dutch. A gift of respect from the Predators to a prey so honorable, he had turned them into prey. Let's make one of our greatest prey even more dangerous. More fun for us eh?
the sad truth is they'll just keep coming to Earth because its challenging. to a species that hunts Xenomorphs as a right of passage, I doubt ol Dutch's war will never be over.
These tapes are better than the story offered by the game itself....ironically featuring them is like a side game being better than the actual game. Lol. It's fun but...these tapes are amazing.
Yes but instead of a badass Jason hunter, he's just an insane grown man believing there's a conspiracy theory in play about Jason Voorhees and has apparently been to the hospital where Freddy was conceived at, the hospital Michael Myers stayed at for 15 years, the Echo Creek hospital, and one in New Orleans near Victor Crowley's place in the swamps yet somehow never ran into any of the killers from these places
This was really well don almost to the point it seemed almost real. I would love to see a movie about this but I agree, they will only fuck it up especially now that Disney got the rights to the Predator/Aliens franchise 👎👎👎👎
Deadwolf the who created this have the power to bring them back here’s an example if they brought back Billy there and have him in the game with Dutch he could say he’s a clone from scientists took his DNA and his memories but every time he died by a predator he would have more knowledge and hunting tactics every different predator uses, the more he dies the more knowledge the more he wins the stronger he gets with the armed knowledge
To be fair to the game's expansion to the lore. These tapes have Dutch speak more lines than his character said in the entire movie. Granted it was done through facial expression and cinematic language. Also, what makes these tapes work is because of his verbal mannerisms and his Austrian accent is not as thick compared to the film. When you say it sounds like he's reading off a script. I understand you mean that it feels stilted or wooden. But it helps if you cited lines of dialogue to support your arguement.
These tapes show Dutch’s, and humanity’s, folly. Taking the hunting trips too personally, fighting back, making earth a bigger target. In the tapes Dutch worries that if the wanted to, the yautja could come back and burn the earth totally, and that with each successful take down of a yautja, better ones keep coming. If Dutch, and Star Gazer, and OWLF, has just done nothing, the hunts would’ve taken place, and a handful of people would’ve died. It’s a few people annually out of a global population in the billions. Not worth starting an interstellar pissing match over.
I doubt that the Yautja operate that way. With the exception of Bad Blood clans like the Killers and the ones who created the Ultimate, they don’t seek conquest or annihilation. When they do go to war, it’s to reclaim ancestral territory, bring out of control Xenomorph hives under control, or to put down clans of Bad Bloods. When a species advances to the point where they could pose a threat to them and any further hunts on their home world risks serious conflict, they tend to back off and not attack them unless they stumble upon Yautja hunting grounds.
That is a short term, knee jerk reaction. What if they took out some one important? Also, if earth became a hell hole, either because of Global Warming or a World War, they would increase the hunting trips. Not lessen.
@@MrPolicekarim who would they take out that’s both important, and active enough to warrant being hunted? And who care if they took out someone “important”? No one person is THAT important. And climate change or world war is a non starter. Climate change isn’t going to ruin the world in any discernible way for the next thousand years. And world war is going to be a far greater global catastrophe than Yautja showing up to play in the madness.
@@Orange.Stallion5.0 yeah you are right De Souza believes that Predator takes place in Val Verde. Predator like Commando, was produced by Joel Silver and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, in Predators (2010), Isabelle (Alice Braga) states that the events of the original film took place in Guatemala, though part of the film's first act takes place in another unnamed country. The Predator novelization by Paul Monette also places the events in Guatemala, while Mark Verheiden's comics for Dark Horse specify Colombia. Also Val Verde was also mentioned to be the home of General Ramon in Die Hard 2
This is yet another proof that Hollywood is dead... the future for our favorite film ,literature ,and other pop culture icons is the realm of video games industry. Just think how much money Hollywood wasted on the mediocre (mostly even terrible) predator related products since predator 1& 2...in these audio recordings in a video game (!!) there is more thought and creativity in all of the garbage films together !
did Arnold even try? Sounds like he Phoned it in. This is the laziest reading acting I have ever heard. Put playback speed to 1.25 and it sounds a lot better.
@@DPham1 Yeah, he's lost three whole teams to those bastards, and god only knows how many individual casualties in earlier predator hunts before the encounter with the Female. And even before he knew the Predator's existed, he's seen his share of horrors. He spent weeks in a Viet Cong prison camp being tortured, and he never broke. In all honesty, these tapes make me respect him even more. Not just his skill as a soldier and his tally of dead Yautja, I've always respected him for that. What I respect most of all now, is his endurance, his resolve, his commitment to the mission. Because of that resolve, dozens of the Hunters lie dead in Yautja burial sites or OWLF laboratories, the OWLF is bigger and better funded than ever and has access to advanced alien technology that could advance humanity by decades if not centuries, and incidents were Predators have shown up have been resolved with minimal loss of life.
ehhhhhyaaaah!! too much reading off a paper(as cool as this is)....should have tried voice acting with it or practiced so it sounded legit. just to make it sound like he was really recording it as Dutch. hes done everything else in life and currently staying at home. why not work on it to perfection.
