Love this movie love the one-liners like when Dutch tells the guy to stick around after he throws a machete at him. But I believe that Predator 2 where we get a lot of the Predators backstory is a severely underrated movie.

I don't consider it better than the original, but I do love 2 just for how unashamedly crazy it is. The first AvP is also a guilty pleasure for me, although admittedly I only enjoy the parts of it with the human/Pred team-up. The rest I usually feel like skipping through

This is one of the movies where I can’t decide if it’s amazing or stupid. Mainly because I can’t take Arnold Schwarzenegger seriously. But it’s a good laugh, at least.

I love that it's these crazy hunters from out of space with the most amazing technology ever. That means there are predators in lab coats somewhere and predator geeks coming up with all kinds of technology we can only dream about.

Fun fact: The Chopper Pilot at the end is played by the Predator himself, Kevin Peter Hall. Also Bill Duke is very much still around, just not as active (he's 78, so yeah sometimes you've got to slow down)

You gotta love this movie. Jump scares, gore, aliens,explosions, military cover-up and some pretty good comic relief. This one will always be a classic . It stands the test of time.

5 Bees! Damn I love it and can't agree more. Watching this movie will make you a sexual tyranosaurus. If you wanted a movie that encapsulates the best transition of theme rolled up in '80s action this is it. It goes from "We got this handled." to "That got out of hand." so quickly. And the one-liners, so many one-liners. Well done!

Fair play to Arnie. Recognising his own limited acting range. He took lessons from carl Weathers, which really paid off in the sharp exchanges between the two. Especially the scene where Dutch realises how Dillon has played him and his men.

What's really funny about this movie is that they were all sick and whiny. These big, bad men whining like little girls in the Mexican jungle. Jesse Ventura was the only one who rolled his eyes and carried on. And the actor who played Billy was so unpredictable, they had to hire a bodyguard... for the actors! Good times. And Jean-Claude Van Damme was the Predator before they decided Kevin Peter Hall was a much better choice. I agree.

This is a Great movie. One of Arnies best. Predator is a tame monster movie, because the alien only kills his equal or with weapons. The newest versions of Predator do not compare.

the characters are not “mercenaries”, I don’t know why people keep saying this, they’re an elite paramilitary rescue team, we are informed of this very obvious fact at the beginning of the movie, yet people keep saying it in reviews.

i agree this is a classic, has good mixture to it and has 2 governors , so when the last one came out recently and it was backed by shane black i was so disapointed , id rather see more of the actual predator planet backstory
