The mid size TV is from the 1990s. These folks just never remodeled. Pretty unique that there hasn't been anyone that has vandalized or stolen items. There are several valuable items in there

Green car in the basement garage is a 1953 Oldsmobile 98 Holiday 2dr hardtop. Nice cars. Can be bucks up.

The "ladders" are decorative trim that goes on top of kitchen cabinets. It is called galley rail. He possibly worked in a cabinet shop or was planning on reworking his cabinets.

I'm guessing a single old timer who probably came to rest a few years after the 2000s owned it. Likely no family, never really updated his home. Glad to see, place hasn't been vandalized and plundered. It's a shame no family took care of property. Don't know about Cadillac outback, but the Chevy Fire, possibly 41ish Chevy behind that, and definitely what looks like Oldsmobile in garage could fetch a price. I'm sure a lot of those hubcaps would be sought-after. He had a few collectibles around the house ,and could probably fill a large (possibly a 40 yd dumpster) with just misc junk, appliances and typewriters for scrap alone. That really old fridge probably works. Wanna thank you for your content and flashback to the past. Take care and be safe venturing on and into properties.

Definitely a single guy's house. The house, especially the kitchen, is straight out of the 1970s - the avocado green countertops and harvest gold dishwasher, as well as the yellow shag carpeting, are the giveaways on the time period. Also, the house was built in 1973 and was never remodeled, so it wouldn't be from the 1980s. Car behind the house is a Cadillac from the early 60s. If this guy is on a registry, he probably got hauled off to jail and never got to come back. You have to wonder if the crime was committed in the house.

This is a great video, but a little more history would be nice. And if this really is the house of a predator, I wouldn't describe the bedroom as beautiful - kind of creepy...

This feels like the start of a horror movie!

I live in Georgia, this house looks like so many houses i've been in, down to the 1980 Bulldogs coke bottle. Every old guy here has one of those. The CSA memorabilia and flags, the wood grain everything, the landscape outside, the old cars, so many of the mundane things inside are just like half of the houses i've been in when I was a kid, not so much anymore. I have a buddy that does have a house that looks almost just like that though lol. I know this guy has a dark past and all of that, so it does kinda give all the mundane/normal Georgia man aesthetic an uneasy feeling. I'd take that TV all day, back when TVs were also furniture. I have a huge record player/radio like that, it was my first piece of furniture.

Crazy, but having grown up in the 80s I can vouch, everything in that house looks typically 80s. Like it was untouched. The stuff in the kitchen is what really dates it.

This is just stuff I saw. Old enough to remember and use this stuff. Easy way to identify…check mailing labels for magazine subscriptions. Cross reference magazine dates to see if they are subscriptions.

I'm guessing it was his parent's house. Everything looks like an older woman did the decorating maybe in the 50's. The fridge is probably late 60s or early 70s. We had a fridge like that.
