The hardest schedule in the last 25 years and they went 9-8. That's with Burrow playing injured the first 4 games going 1-3 start half of the season played with a backup QB. Sam's a nut case of he thinks that the Bengals can't win 10 games with an easier schedule. When everyone was healthy we had the best offense in the league.

Let’s go down the list. Compared to last year. QB healthy. =better WR=better OL=better TE=better DB=better DE=considering health better DL= I could see the argument either way but with the depth I think better. So why the hate Sam?

The Bengals don't have "holes." They have some starters that are below average, but so does every other franchise.

Best OLine they have had for Burrow. D-line is deeper and will have a much better pass rush from D Tackles. Better Safety play and depth. The best wide receiver group in the NFL this year. Burton will play a major role. Mims will be the starter after 6 weeks at Right tackle. Will be going for the #1 seed this year..

Sam such a hater. The only real hole on the roster is Volson at LG. There’s question marks at CB2 and pass rush but there’s plenty of options. Only thing that can stop us is injuries

Yes Burrow was hit by Clowney and fell on his wrist. The next pass was a short pass the Joe Mixon for a td. It was fine before Clowney hit him and the first pass after is when the injury revealed itself. So that’s direct causation. Clowney hits him he falls on his wrist producing the injury and the next pass was short but he barely got it to Mixon because his ligament was torn then he exits the game. I don’t know why you guys are saying non contact injury. Were you watching the game? I was and that’s what I saw.

Credit for 1/9/22 against Cleveland when no starters played plus post season games and it's a difference of 1 game between Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson, in Joe's 4 seasons, and remember Joe's o-line his first couple of years.

10.5 factors in Burrow getting hurt. Bottom line for me is that they are better than their SB team. Burrow was recovering from surgery for the first half of that year. When clicking, this offense should be historically great. Chase, Higgins, Jones, Yoshi, Burton & TE group with a healthy Burrow plus Moss/Brown might walk down the field. Defenses have to double Chase OR an automatic first down or pass with highlight reel YAC or TD.

Hmm in 2022 the Bengals had the toughest schedule in football. Or the 2nd toughest it was one of those and they won 12 games. This year they have the 17th toughest schedule. I think they win at least 14 if not 15 games this year. Anyone who looks at their schedule and says they can’t just don’t know what they are talking about. In 2022 they won 12 games and remember the Bills game was canceled. They were on there way to winning that game before the guy died on the field and the game was rightly so canceled.

Sam really showed he has little to no idea what "holes" Cincy may have when 90% of his statements are factually inaccurate. Burrow's wrist injury was being landed on by a DT while being sacked. CTB took over CB1 when Awuzie tore his ACL year before last and has had many more impressive outings than games he has struggled (arguably most were surrounding the injury he dealt with). Most defensive lines that aren't worth $55m and up are statistically dominated by their lone star on the line. If having a rotation of guys who play their role among the star to facilitate him getting to eat is considered having holes then KC, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, some great overall DLines who are primarily one dominate rusher, nothing but effective swiss cheese according to Sam's logic. If you think Cincy will lay an egg, get bad luck with injuries for the second straight year and do as bad as last year or worse despite going from a first place schedule to a last place schedule while Burrow actually is getting to have an offseason for once - by all means place that bet - but at least fact check your reasoning. I'd imagine Cincy is not the only team he just mailed it in with.

We significantly upgraded at safety. Dax at corner was the best move. Battle should be starting on most rosters and he's a backup for the Bengals. We're getting slow at LB, and you didn't mention that. Our line is as good or better than last year. You're significantly underrating rankins and our draft picks. Again, it's wild to me that you're speaking as an expert when you're disconnected from reality
