Thank you so much. Sadly can't take the credit, found it online. I tried to find the source to credit in the description but there's like a million different edits of this. So I have no clue who was the original creator.
Since we are in the Multiverse Saga, it makes perfect sense for the villain of Thor 5 to be his most powerful villain ever. The Black Winter. A cosmic entity that travels between universes and consumes them. It's a perfect way to setup Avengers 5 and a great way to explain the origin of Alioth. You could say that Alioth was a descendant of The Black Winter
@@TheAtomicVisionShow Plus it's also a great way to tie in Galactus as well. Because in the comics, Galactus is the Herald of The Black Winter. Also it would be so cool to have a scene where The Black Winter crushes a galaxy in the palm of his hand. To showcase just how powerful it is.
@@TheAtomicVisionShow It's also the perfect villain for Thor's character journey throughout the entirety of the MCU. With Thor dealing with grief of loved ones, the fear of mortality and the trauma of failure. The Black Winter can really push Thor on not just a physical aspect, but a mental aspect as well. This would also be a great way for Thor to finally become The All Father and a cosmic protector of all creation.
@@TheAtomicVisionShowHad to come back to this comment because the more I think about it, the more I'm liking the idea. You could easily make Thor 5 dive into cosmic horror. Like something straight out of HP Lovecraft or SCP. The Black Winter could easily be the scariest villain in the MCU. Can give children nightmares and even disturb adults as well with a PG-13 rating.
There's no doubt in my mind that Thor 5 will have a LOT of damage control. Waititi has been sacked as the director, so they'll ditch Korg and the other co-stars introduced in Ragnarok. My theory is that, although it'll likely happen in either Avengers 5 or Secret Wars, Thor will reunite with Loki. Although Hemsworth apparently doesn't get on with Hiddleston, their chemistry has been undeniably praised. Separating Thor and Loki wasn’t so bad during Infinity War and Endgame, but only because Thor was with the Avengers and Guardians. Come Love and Thunder and you can see how Thor struggles on his own. Here's what irritates me, though. Love and Thunder would have been a fun adventure, had the Guardians stayed with Thor, and if Korg had stayed in New Asgard with Valkyrie. All parties should have gone their separate ways at the end of the movie. I personally would have given Star-Lord and Drax the biggest roles out of the Guardians. Star-Lord would have paralleled Jane through losing his mother to cancer and Gorr because he gave up his powers after he killed Ego. Drax would have paralleled Gorr because both men lost their families to greater powers. But I'm getting sidetracked. Thor 5 will do away with Waititi's development to give us a moodier take with sprinklings of levity to avoid an overly bleak tone. The only remnant of Love and Thunder will be Zeus' vendetta against Thor.
Fantastic ideas. I agree, the Guardians should have stayed with Thor the whole film, it's what everyone was looking forward to at the end of Endgame. I can't wait for Loki's reunion with Thor, it is going to be so emotional & satisfying when it happens.
@@SpFlash1523 I personally take it with a pinch of salt because it was some RU-vid commenter who declared it with "Trust me bro" vibes, hence the "Apparently". This guy said that Hemsworth told reporters that Hiddleston was trying too hard to be his friend and he was finding it annoying.
Seeking revenge for an insult against the pride of Zeus, Hercules attacks Thor. Their battle is so fierce and intense that it spans multiple cosmic locations, drawing in other major powerhouses. The conflict threatens to tear the fabric of reality due to the dark magical energies contained in Stormbreaker. As the Celestials, already assessing the Eternals and Earth for judgment, intervene, they capture all the belligerents. The Celestials evaluate and assess both the Eternals and the cosmic heroes caught up in the conflict between Thor and Hercules, testing their worthiness in a series of trials. The fate of the gods, Eternals, and Earth hangs in the balance. A Kang variant offers to aid the Celestials in their task of sealing the breaches in reality caused by the battles. Kang claims he can create a tool to seal the breaches by deconstructing Stormbreaker and using it to forge new artifacts: the Ten Rings, Quantum Bands, and the Necrosword. Kang also proposes using these tools to address the threat of Galactus, who hunts, kills, and feeds on Celestials. While Kang crafts the weapons, the gods and Eternals undergo trials. Some succeed, while others fail. As the trials progress, Thor and Hercules become fast friends. Among the other prisoners is Mantis, who is being investigated for her connections to the Celestials. Mantis becomes entangled in a romantic triangle involving Eros and a mysterious stranger. The Eternals start to suspect that the Kang variant plans to betray the Celestials and kill them, along with Galactus. The Eternals rebel, initiating a chain of events that begins with freeing the prisoners. The mysterious prisoner courting Mantis is revealed to be another Kang variant, who believes Mantis will become the Celestial Madonna. This Kang variant hopes to sire the Celestial Messiah and use the child to usher in an age where he controls the powerful being. The two Kangs recognize each other and fight. The gods and Eternals rebel against the Kangs and the Celestials, but their combined power isn't enough. However, the intervention causes the newly forged items to scatter, lost in different times and places in the multiverse. Thor dies, but he is welcomed to Valhalla as a hero. Unready to let go, his adopted daughter resurrects him, allowing him to ascend and become the All-Father. As the All-Father, Thor leads the resurrected Asgardian host, cosmic forces, gods, and Eternals against the Celestials. The Celestials are finally defeated, and Asgard is restored. Thor takes a cosmic throne high above the skies of Asgard. As he does, he looks across the cosmos and locks eyes with his brother Loki staring back across the void, and smiles.
Jane should get a story arc as well. I do think that Jane will return as Mighty Thor in Secret Wars. Thor 5 could include a storyline about her dealing with life as an Asgardian. She could become a Valkyrie as she does in the comics. The end credit sequence did not have the feel of a end. It felt like this is where she is at this moment in time.
Absolutely. That end credit felt very "see you soon". But a part of me can't tell if it's just a tease for her return... ...or it's a tease that Thor might be joining her in Valhalla very soon.
@@TheAtomicVisionShow The fact that Jane meets Heimdell when she goes to Valhalla suggests that they will start out together. That would preclude the need for Thor to come to Valhalla. It would be more interesting to see her and Heimdell together for a time.
Marvel just announced that they are returning to Hall H at Comic-Con next month...and in all honesty, I think they are gonna announce the next R-rated Marvel project there. So who knows what might happen.
@Me_me. Deadpool and Wolverine just crossed a billion. Parents take their kids to the see the movie regardless. R just means adult supervision for kids...
They can probably introduce more gods from other pantheons as supporting characters. There was a time in the comics when Thor approached Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva at Nirvana to ask them to help him restore Asgard. Maybe involving these gods as an advisor or Odin-replacement can be worth a try. Maybe even featuring the Council of Godheads would do.
God of war worked because it had several games before to establish Kratos and see his journey (wait a minute Thor Alos)…..and God of War Worked because they focused not on the mythological and the McGuffin (mask in Ragnarok for example) but rather on the Father-Son Dynamic. With Love being a full character they could achieve similar results. But knowing Marvel, they will Fumble it again . Story wise, only Chang-Chi managed to focus (mostly) on the Father-Son dynamic like in God of War. And IMO it was one of the best marvel to date. And one of my fav
From what I've heard, Marvel has seriously taken everyone's complaints to heart and they are radically changing how they make these films...so I have faith they can fix Thor again. They've done it before, they can do it again. And same, Shang-Chi is one of my favorite MCU films too.
Since everyone is burnt with silly-Thor, I would think George Miller's version would be high-energy but menacing. Kinda like Tom Hardy as Mad Max, badass but a bit unhinged. Personally, I'd like Thor to be a bit more chill. Lol.
I agree Zeus and hercules shouldn’t be the big bad of the film since this supposed to be thors last stand alone movie I never read a lot of comics as a kid but I do know Thor and hercules become good friends they there’s Gota be another big bad then end up taking on together and the end of the movie
I think we have already covered the Fatherhood Theme with Thor. What we haven't covered is his ascension to the Throne of Asgard. Thor didn't take the throne because he really had not discovered his real purpose, and so he handed it to Val and took off to discover himself. I don't think Hercules is going to be the main Villain in any future movies. If anything he will be 5 minute distraction at the beginning of the film until Thor schools him and sends him literally crying back to Zeus with his Fathers Lightning Bolt as a parting gift from Thor. The new Villain will be a formidable foe from another dimension or Multiverse realm whose target will be Earth and esp Asgard out of some deranged sense of Vengence. Thor will have to team up with a number of people including Beta Ray Bill who will become this Universes new Thor. Val will gave started a new relationship, finally giving herself permission to risk heartache again and she will happily abdicate the Throne to Thor after telling him she was just keeping it warm for him. We have to retire Chris from the Franchise , he still looks amazing as Thor and likely will for a long time but the MCU needs to close his chapter to introduce us to a new hero that will fill his shoes.
I don't think they will wait that long to pay off on the Hercules story. I'm thinking that it will happen early in secret wars. Hercules will show up and fight thor and then in the middle of battle be interrupted by the incursion, call a cease fire to focus on the bigger threat so they can bring hercules into the avengers. Considering they are rebuilding the team it would make sense. With iron man, cap, vision all gone, can't see wanda coming back yet. And Hercules was an avenger in the comics for awhile. Also considering the whole raising gorrs daughter wasn't a big hit with anyone I bet they dont even mention her and if they do it will be brief.
That would be pretty funny. Kinda reminds me of Adam Warlock in Guardians 3. Herc realizes the world is far larger than just his dad being angy, so he swaps teams. Also, while I don't think Wanda will be back as an Avenger...I don't think she is dead either. Only time will tell.
@@TheAtomicVisionShow I'm just going based off the comics, where Hercules doesn't stay an enemy but more of a friendly rivalry with hulk and Thor for the title of "strongest avenger" also with red hulk coming in the near future they may even be teeing up a west cost avengers film to fill the hole the guardians left. It's hard to tell what will really happen in secret wars after seeing how far they strayed from the civil war comics. But I feel like like Brett Goldstein is at that perfect level of semi obscurity that marvel likes to make super stars out of. I could see him signing a deal with a 2 or 3 film option. He's a phenomenal actor. I loved him as roy Kent. However hercules is a character that loves women and loves to drink so I guess it depends on wether marvel is done tanking their empire with identity politics being the main plot of their projects. I really hope so. I for one miss phase one and phase 2.
I love Brett so I know for a fact he will kill it as Hercules. I don't think "identity politics" is hurting these Marvel projects at all. Marvel, I think was just high off of Endgame and thought they could make so many projects and that everyone would love them, no matter what. Then they greenlit projects without even asking if we cared and it obviously failed. So, thank god they are shrinking the number of projects to just 2 movies and 3 shows a year (hell, the shows might just be 2 cartoons and 1 live-action show).
Marvel has gone so far down hill i dont see how they can recover...a dozen shows that are horrible but necessary to keep up canonically. Im not watching them just to know whats going on. They destroyed thors character when they turned him into comedic relief. His entire planet was destroyed and they made the whole thing a joke. Him and hulk are my two favorite and hes been completely ruined
If there is one thing I've learned, nothing is broken forever. Thor may have gotten too silly before, but it isn't impossible. We went from The Dark World to Ragnarok in just one sequel. Thor will be back, cooler than ever, we just need to wait, unfortunately.
@TheAtomicVisionShow we'll see, I'm not hoping they can't fix it I'm just not sure they can. He attacked zues maybe a bad ass fight between him and Hercules is on the way..I'd like to see that as long as they get the casting right
Unfortunately this was always going to happen so I doubt Marvel will acknowledge it. Plus, Chris is only 41, meanwhile Hugh is still Wolvie at 55. "Til you're 90!!!"
Hercules and ares fighting to kill Thor to please Zeus is perfect Thor 5 should take a Black panther 1 approach thor dies goes to Valhalla sees all his loved ones finds out Loki isn’t there and that will set up Thor reuniting with Tom hiddles Loki in the future. would be goated comes back and kills ares and unites with Hercules and Hercules becomes an avenger
In my opinion, the temperature of Thor the Dark World got it right. Just had a bad script. If Ragnarok had the same GOT type temperature as DW it would have been the GREATEST Marvel movie ever.
What's interesting is that the writers for The Dark World went on to write the best MCU films (The Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War, and Endgame) so I kinda agree. If the writers were able to really cook, it would have worked.
They did Thor so goddamn dirty for Endgame, dude… he entered into the scene with such raw power in Infinity War,… and then they nerfed the everliving daylights out of him to make Captain Marvel look better. I will NEVER forgive them for that.
I don't see how Captain Marvel has anything to do with Thor being depressed so that's just not true. And by the end of that film, I thought they made him cool as hell. Loved his braided beard so he looked like a Norse Viking.
I would rather have the mcu recreate thor 4 and a few of the unwanted projects like she hulk and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and recreate them with a new direction that would better fit the stories of the MCU so far. Thor 4 deserves better and Taika did the absolute crap job of recreating the story of the God Butcher. Similar to how Wanda and Dr.Strange was wasted in the miltiverse of madness. Ot should have been a Multiverse movie exploring the Multiverse, or a movie focusing on the Scarlet witch and her evil ways. So recreating these projects would better help the MCU both in terms of financial problems and gain a higher fanbase.
I get where you are coming from as someone who was disappointed in Wanda's character arc...but I feel like once the Multiverse saga ends, we won't be getting Multiverse films anymore.
What if they tried again with the whole gorr storyline since the multiverse is open but this gorr variant will be a lot more dangerous and Thor will meet old king Thor and they will go and fight gorr in the necroverse
Anything is possible. Marvel released Secret Invasion (their worst project) and then released Loki Season 2 (one of their best). Nothing is broken forever.
I actually think Dark World was the best one. I hate the tone of the 3 and 4! Love and Thunder more so than Ragnarok was just so disrespectful to the character. Dark World, although it wasn't the a particularly great movie... it was the BEST THOR movie hands down! And I will die on that hill... infact I bet money most comic book fans agree with me on this especially now after how Gorr was handled in Love and Thunder!
I was looking forward to L&T and I didn't hate it but it was a huge let down for me. Thor was reduced to a bumbling idiot again who had the same story beat of trying to find himself and not sure who he is. Thor is supposed to be a bad ass protector. Idk where I want the franchise to go but it seems like they really fumbled there character overall after infinity war and ragnarok.
Just make him feel like the god of thunder love and Thunder feel like a meet the Spartans kind of movie no offense to Taika he did great job at Ragnarok but in love and thunder he forgot that this is the character that viking use to pray before going to war million of people love his comics because of his seriousness and little bit of comedy he is the only big 3 that is alive tony and cap is gone next movie should have to be feel like the movie of god of thunder not the god of joke make the people remember he is son of odin prince of Asgard the GOD OF FUCKING THUNDER
The portrayal of Thor in "Endgame" and subsequently in "Love and Thunder" was ridiculous. MCU has failed to honor his character appropriately. See, Thor possesses immense power, extensive experience, and centuries of wisdom. He is a GOD, an original Avenger, and one of the Big Three. YET, the way he is treated is pathetic! It is both astonishing and disheartening to see how the MCU has overlooked his significance. Ant man, Hawkeye were treated better. F'n spider-man is mcu's anchor being lol
Fatherhood is a great theme, particularly in relation to the villains side--Ares and Hercules playing baddie to Thor to please their father Zeus. This theme might also be a good entry point for Tiwaz, a comic book Thor character I've been wanting to see in a live-action Thor film. The hitherto unknown Tiwaz becomes a father figure to Thor and teaches Thor the essentials of good fatherhood.
People hated that early version of Thor though. His first two movies were considered very average. Needs to strike a balance between Ragnarok and Thor 1 versions.
Noone mature or serious will ever be in Disney-Marvel. We should alreayd give up from that hope, it gets worse every year. Thats what low quality filmmakers do, putting comedy or unrespectful joke. Thats all they can do to get interest
It should be about keeping his word about protecting his adopted daughter. Dr Doom short cameo as the villain directing someone who he hires to go do something with his daughter. Loki of course is trying to keep the multiverse together and has no choice but to intervene to help Thor with his daughter but by doing that it plays into Dooms hand setting up God Emperor Doom since Loki choice was between existence ceasing to exist and helping a version of Thor saving his own daughter. Overall Villain could be Hella who has plans of her own for Thor's daughter to reshape reality to what she wants. Also Chad Stihelski should be the director.
I'd LOVE if Chad Stahelski directed a Marvel or DC film. He's got such a fun & unique vision and "his" version of Thor would be legendary. Great write-up!
George Miller almost made a Justice League movie if I was James Gunn or Kevin Feige I would try to get him to make a Super Hero movie both Mad Max Fury road and Furiosa are brilliant films of I was DC or Marvel I would try to get him on my side to make a film but only if he wants to make one
I like these ideas , Honestly I'd Double Down on Wrait of the Titans ? Ok Zeus sends Herc and Aries maybe Herc 1st w/ Aries on standby if Herc fails* Zeus also sends a large force of Greek Monsters , Titans , Gorgons etc. each trying to kill Thor and Thor unaware of said weaknesses but Herc does know each Monsters Weakness* and later Teams up w/ Thor after learning Thor is a Hero. Then Aries shot w/ even Greater Monsters by his side Like The Thesian Lion Hydra Manticore etc. TThor needs to tell Love she can't come it's too dangerous even if she's Powerful she's inexperienced and Thor is being a good Dad. Maybe Love can bail out Thor later or help in a smaller way ?
The way to fix Thor would be to adapt a story from before the modern comic book era. Something prior to Marvel Now and All New All Different. I think the Ballad of Beta Ray Bill would be great.
Okay im just saying this but in my opinion the last thor movie was fine like seriously why dose about everyone i talk to about the 4th movie hates it WHY?? Actually i also add why does everyone hate the recent marvel movies and series whenever i like them like why?
"That's my secret, Cap. I love Thor: Love & Thunder." Seriously, I do love that film but I totally respect those who didn't. As for the recent Marvel movies/series, I eb & flow based on each but only Secret Invasion is one I truly hated.
Gunn & Taika were never interested in this idea, unfortunately. Whoever directs the next Guardians film (whoever that is) maybe they will pitch the Asgardians of the Galaxy to Marvel. I still think it's a great idea.
🤔 I wonder if Marvel.... Could they squeeze an appearance from one or maybe 2 of these Avenger characters that can relate with Thor being a father..... Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) Paul Rudd (Ant-man) Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) Or..... Starlord (Chris Pratt) because he's back home living with his grandpa. Maybe a "guys night"scene in the movie? They could talk life and give their opinion about fatherhood and this could be Marvel's opportunity to somehow tie-in and keep some of those characters involved for the next couple of Avengers Multiverse movies.
Hopefully the next Thor movie will going beyond and awesome team up and new characters that should come in to help the mighty thor George Miller was very close to directing Justice league mortal in 2007 right before the writer strike happened. Maybe he could bring that justice league type story in the new Thor movie
