We forget that we’re just high functioning animals. Sexuality is a primal urge that is difficult to manage for adults, let alone teenagers. Teen pregnancy will always be around and we need to work on the stigma surrounding it. I’m not saying it’s ok, but it’s like being hungry, you’re at McDonald’s and you have $15 in your pocket. The food is not good for you, but who’s not gonna go ahead and eat. And for those that eat, some are going to gain weight and have to struggle to lose it. And some will struggle with that for the rest of their lives.

My family has a history of teen bride/mothers. I've been with my husband since I was 16. So this year is 30 years together, 21 years married. I didn't have my 1st child until I was 29. I had a girl in high school grade 9 get pregnant at the beginning of school. That was great birth control! No thanks!
