While watching this video all I could think was THANK YOU Woody and Amani for showing what we already know. The LOVE AND COMMUNITY we have as BLACK FAMILIES! It's not depicted often enough in mainstream TV, big production movies and print media. Your baby has a much bigger network of Aunts, Uncles, Grandmas & Grandpas than even you realize. You don't know all of our names but we are here even though we didn't get a box and didn't record our tear filled joyful reactions. I watched a news story many months ago, forgive me for not remembering the actor, but his daughter was present. She referred to him as Daddy. A white actor was also present and had an odd look on his face after the father daughter exchange. Long story short, the white actor was shocked that his daughter called him Daddy. He thought only white children called their fathers Daddy. This video is the BEST I've seen to date because it's shows the creation of a child in a loving union into a bigger union!!! CONGRATULATIONS and BLESSINGS for a safe pregnancy and smooth delivery!
I don't really know you both in real life other than MAFS and I'm over here crying like I'm one of your family / friends members that's so full of joy with your amazing news! Congratulations to you both ❤️ 👏🏼 🙌 ❤️
