Love this guy! He's changed my view on bossy OB's that think all of pregnancy is a "medical condition". Very relaxed nature about him, thanks for the lovely videos
I am having pre-eclampsia, and currently 36 weeks, admitted to hospital due to high BP. all my doctors wanted to induce me right now, but I begged for another week. Now will be induced in 4 days.
I really like this doctor. He is very informative and very nice. I really like the doctor I have now too though. But, I've had some in the past that are sort of unfriendly and always so rushed that they never let you ask questions.
Hi doc. . Love your videos. I'm 37 weeks and 5 days. What are your thoughts on natural ways of inducing labour like nipple stimulation, castor oil etc. at this stage?
So for new moms, baby is no longer considered "full term" at 37 weeks anymore. 37-38 weeks is considered early term, 39-41 is full term and 42 is past term. This changed after the doctor made this video, something to think about.
I wanted to go buy stuff for my hospital bag but It looks like i am not going to be able to afford to buy new stuff :( i aas gonna have my bag packed at 35 weeks. Never was able to afford anything. Guess i am going to just pack a hospital bag with what i have at home and if I get some cash before baby I will continue my dream and go buy some new stuff. Idk i just like having new stuff at the hospital
What do you think about being 37 weeks and baby supposedly he weighs 8lb is it okay to start inducing naturally ?? And I am not a diabetic and so far I had a healthy pregnancy
Thnx fr ur prompt reply. I m taking cetrizine, which puts me to sleep and steroid fr topical application . Just was concerned to the extent that smtimes it's so bothersome that i feeel like getting induced.. Will try n hold on fr sm more time. Are there any other tests apart frm cholecystitis thT u can suggest i must get done?
Hey doc I am 37 weeks 5days, this is my 3rd pregnancy natural birth miss due dates only 2 or 1 day. I am 2cm & 70% effacement. could this mean I am in labour?
Hi.. M 37 weeks pregnant ... Having generalised itching with few pus like eruptions on bk n legs. Liver is normal.. Very uneasy n difficult to sleep.. Isthis normal?
It is normal. Itching and rashes are a common problem in pregnancy. Any of the topical creams are ok to use. Antihistamines such as Benadryl, Zyrtec, or Claritin are safe and will help the itching.
When you are referring to 37 weeks being full term.... are you saying that 37 weeks 0 days is considered full term or 37 weeks 6 days is considered full term...please explain.
In the US 37 weeks and 0 days is considered full term for statistical gathering. Elective inductions and scheduled c-sections are not done until at least 39 weeks and 0 days.
I need to ask ,I had may anomaly scan done at 19th week and there was no gross fetal anomaly seen but I have another U/s done at 35+ weeks for fetal well being and doctor said there is mild fullness in fetal kidneys, I am 39 years old and this is my first baby boy, Can anybody guide me what is that and is it normal as my gyn said after birth of the baby only they can tell what is that by doing ultrasound of baby's kidney, PLs help me to understand that if all is OK with my baby.
