Professional spray tanner here ✌🏻 tan tip: use baby powder in areas of creasing (underarms, inside elbows, etc) use a large makeup brush and small bowl then dust on in a dry shower! This realllly helps the sticky feeling and protects your skin from rubbing on clothes 🤗 game changer.

Julia please don’t do anymore Dip. It’s horrible for your nails, also the fact that your fingers were put in the same container that the dip powder comes in is not hygienic at all.

what’s the healthiest option to get at the nail salon? regular polish doesn’t last and my nails always break if i don’t have gel/powder on them 😩

I have had good experience with dip and rather not do it with gel, cause of the light, but I don’t do any nails while I’m pregnant cause of the acetone. Every one is different though.

The best nail secret I’ve found to keep my natural nails strong and healthy is doing 2 base coats of gel and then however many coats of gel polish you like then the top coat. If they’re done right they don’t look bulky at all they’re so nice and natural and my nails last weeks!

@@CiciRodge dip is literally super glue with powdered color. It’s extremely damaging and honestly the fact that your putting your fingers in where other people do as well and you do not know where those fingers have been.

@@oceaneyes_27 you should try Japanese gel. Not sure where you live but there are more nail artist that use Japanese gel now. There are also Russian nail artist that do amazing work and they focus on the overall health of your nails. If not you could see if anyone uses either builder gels or rubber gel bases or top coats like from the Gel, Inc. Having those as a base helps protect your nails if they are usually brittle. I would find a nail tech that cares about nails, that actually takes time to do things properly. The whole removal process of gel and dip is what causes your nails to become extremely brittle.

Hey Juj make sure you’re taking folate, like REAL folate, not folic acid. It needs to be methylfolate. Folic acid is ALWAYS pushed by doctors who don’t know any better (although they should.) Folic acid is actually made from the mold of oxidized petroleum. Almost all pharmaceuticals have petroleum in them. If @Hunter wants a good read, have him research the Flexner Report, it is where allopathy and pharmaceuticals were truly born. I’m a seed sub forever now because of y’all too, Love ya babe😘

Something I tell my fine hair clients before they style their hair for an event or even just a blow out they want to last. Put a light hold mouse in your hair before you blow dry. It will help your hair hold curl/ form better. Just a bit on your mids and ends. I have my brides do it the night before their weddings too before I style them out for weddings! Works like a charm!
