I got stretch marks in high school as puberty was ending and I had a weird hormone surge and an injury which led me to stop exercising and gain some one year. But then when I was pregnant I didn’t get any! Weird, but I’m grateful to have gone through what I did when I was younger and learned about caring for and accepting my body but I’m also glad I didn’t get more when pregnant just because it’s one more change to go through. But I’m okay with getting any in the future because it’s just life and I choose to love my body through it all.
honestly if i ever have kids i'm not going to worry about strech marks i have them from weight gain and from my 🍒 growing too fast as a teen. plus they kind of look like lightning bokts 😁
I've only had one pregnancy but I used Palmers cocoa butter 24/7 and gave birth stretchmark free! :)) Don't forget to apply on all stretching areas like breasts, things, butt and so on. Not just your belly.
@@LaRenaEasterly It worked for me, so it's not false. I felt less tension everytime I put it on. There's no proof now whether it was my genetics or the cream. I would've had to use it on half my belly and see if both sides resulted stretch mark free. Which is too late to do now.
I didn't have a single stretch mark with my first baby until the week before he was born...(figures right?) LOL. but honestly I learned to love my stretch marks!. I've had people point them out or insult me about them in the past and for a while I hated my stretch mark's ....but I look at my babies and remember I sacrificed it all for them and I'd do it a thousand times again of I had to!.
Actually, your not entirely correct. I have 7 kids, pregnant with my 8th. My first was at 16 I'm now 34 I only got stretch marks with my first and I was smaller in weight but a large baby. When I had a similar, slightly smaller baby but was about 8kg heavier, I didn't get stretch marks. My first baby I was slightly malnourished... No one in my family got stretch marks in pregnancy. So from my 3rd baby onwards I never bothered to try prevent them but with my first I used bio oil, Palmers etc etc If anything my first pregnancy I shouldn't have got them lol But yeh I live my battle scars
