This really worked for me, I went from nearly being unable to walk to almost normal within a couple of days (did the routine every day). Recommended it to a friend suffering from round ligament pain too :) Thank you so much!
I am soooo happy to hear this. Last two days have been almost in tears!! Excited and thankful to start this! Did your pain ever return to that intensity?
I just wanted to share that this gave me IMMEDIATE relief from pain that felt pretty severe over several days (I consider myself to have a high pain tolerance). I am 17 weeks and this is my first pregnancy. I was in tears, having trouble getting up and down. I was about to go to an ER and/or call my doctor. I was trying not to freak out and acquire a good ol American medical bill so I looked around here on RU-vid to see others' experiences with round ligament pain. I had trouble getting down onto the floor but after trying this my pain is gone and I got up off the floor just fine. Amazing. If you are suffering please try this ❤
I wound up in the ER twice due to this pain and then I found this video and it almost helped immediately! I now have a 2 years old but I remember this pain!
I'm 34 weeks pregnant was in the hospital twice suffering from extreme pain and what I thought was a right inguinal hernia. I was discharged last night with the diagnosis of round ligament pain. I couldn't believe it. I have a very high tolerance for pain and never took pain meds even after an emergency appendectomy. This was the worst pain I've felt in my life. It was even causing contractions on the monitor, although I was completely closed/ not dilated. I found your video and it was such a godsend. I slowed it down to x 0.5 and it was perfect. Thank you so much for sharing the precious gift of your time and knowledge with the world.
Omg. This was me on Sunday night. Had to go to the hospital thinking it was a kidney stone. Sent home with ligament pain! Worst pain of my life, and lasted for 4 hours continuously. Thank you!
I'm same but on subutex and it wasn't even rid any of the soreness I don't have sharp pain it is more soreness of the right side that lasted 5 hours one day and all week seen doc and had urine test all is fine so says growing ligament and I'm preg with my second d it is even worse this time around than first !!! I wanna rid this and be happy as I'm depressed and dlc has seen and I go back Tuesday check up on how I am soreness wise also and 14 week 1 day today
Bettina I am so grateful for you!! For the past three years I have been practicing daily with Yoga with Adriene. When we began IVF and eventually got pregnant I was so afraid of being destabilized in my daily practice because her pregnancy resources are so minimal. The daily practice has brought so much steadiness to my life and I feared losing it and myself along the way. Then I found you ❤ THANK YOU for being an amazing resource throughout the journey.
I have been doing this video a few times a week once I started feeling that painful round ligament pain and it has been my lifesaver!!! Thank you so much!
Thank you SO much. 12 wks, 2nd pregnancy & this pain is much more intense this time around. You definitely relieved my body w/those stretches. I was literally in tears & didn’t know what to do with myself until I remembered that this might be rlp. ♥️
Thanks, Bettina! I'm in my last week of the second pregnancy, the baby has dropped already and today I literally couldn't walk because of the lightning crotch without as much as a minute of mercy from my baby's huge head. This practice helped a lot, I definitely feel more human now 😆
31 weeks pregnant, 2nd baby - but round ligament pain is so awful this time. Have been couch bound for days with a heating pad. I felt relief almost immediately after doing this practice, going to continue using each day! Thank you SO much!!!!!
Thank you so much for this video! I feel like most of the ones I watched didn't touch on torso stretching at all and these gentle stretches released so much tension that I had! Thank for making this :) you're amazing!
This video saved me so much when I was pregnant! Thank you so much! My daughter is almost 2 now. I remember feeling like I would never get through this! Now look at me…with an almost 2 year old! 😂
24 weeks pregnant with excruciating round ligament pain. This video in addition to a heating pad, belly band, and maneuvering more consciously when I move in bed has tremendously helped me and it’s only been 3 days since I started. Thank you so much for this, Bettina!
Tremendously thankful to have discovered this video. I am 16 weeks pregnant with my first, and I couldn’t believe the amount of round ligament pain keeping me up last night. This video relaxed those tense spots and felt so good from start to finish. I already can’t wait to do it again tomorrow. Thank you!
This helped me so much, im 16+3 weeks today and round ligament pain has kicked in since entering my 2nd trimester, but especially this week! this is my 1st pregnancy so it makes sense for it to be very uncomfortable and sometimes painful because I also have a short torso, but this yoga session has helped a lot, along with my belly band :) I practice yoga everyday now (I was doing yoga prior to pregnancy so I knew it was still safe for me) so glad I came across this session today! Thank you :) I will also be seeing a pregnancy specified chiropractor in a couple of weeks so im really looking forward to that as well during my pregnancy :)
This was a great short video that helped loosen me up. I wake up feeling very tight in the mornings as I tend to arch my back when I sleep. I've also had some significant round ligament pain too. Thanks for posting this one up.
I am 27weeks and I’ve been experiencing constant lower abdominal pain. I went to the hospital and was diagnosed with round ligament pain. I was told to try magnesium and a heating pad but it was not helping the pain. After doing this yoga, I felt instant relief. I’m so happy and thankful for you. I haven’t felt this good in a while. How often should I do this per week?
I sat on two cushions thinking this might be hard and put my hands in front and just rested there and I couldn’t stop my tears coming down because for the first time in two three weeks of pressure at the vaginal area it felt relief 😭😭 and I felt so at peace … can’t believe it brought me tears tho. So Thankyou so much for this❤️❤️
Really worked for me. I was experiencing the worst kind of pain in this second pregnancy of mine... Couldn't even get out of bed and doing this only once made such a difference. Thank you so much ❤️
Thanks for the video, i started having some growing pains mostly on my right side and this really helped ! Anyone can recommend any more excercises to help?
Leaning back on the bolster was a little awkward (didn't feel great and didn't want to push it) but the rest of this was really wonderful. Thank you :)
First time mom, I’m 17 weeks and I barely look pregnant because my body is fighting stretching so hard. The battle is painful, I hope my little girl wins soon 😂 Until then this video really helped my aching body relax 💕
At 5 weeks it’s very normal to be cramping a little bit. This early I would just be resting. You can try some of my first trimester classes however they won’t really stop the cramps as it is your uterus doing what it needs to do. Congratulations by the way!
I'm having bad stretching soreness it so sore sometimes where I don't want to go out my doctor I've seen n it just ligaments as had tests etc baby fine at 14 week
Niharika, we don’t create any pelvic tension in this class so it should be okay for placenta previa. I would check with your midwife or doctor first though.
