This just happened to me. The second one in six years in the same breast very near the same spot. One was at 1oclock the second at 2oclock. The first cancer a rare 1% breast cancer, this one is most common 80 %. I am 72 so much less impact than this young mother. I would not have been surprised at recurrence but a second one really shocked me. Luckily for my granddaughter it is not a genetic issue. Bless her heart. All the best to her and the precious family. My mastectomy is next Friday.
